Fantasy, Magic, and Mystery! discussion

I'm a just about exactly a smoot tall(look on google earth) so I'm about five foot seven. I have curly green(I dyed it) hair that I stopped trying to comb two years ago, but it stays down flat the night after swimming. I'm lithely muscled from five years on the swim team and water polo, and I have freckles from being in the sun too much. I'm pretty tan from surfing, and always have a small paperback in my back pocket. I have angular features, but ears that stick out a bit. My eyes are gray, and I have a British accent from living in London for three years. I used to be a troubled child(I hate that phrase) so I went to boarding school in London.

I also pay attention to details, as you might have noticed.

And y'all know my sense of humor. :P

That's just about me, but with a British accent. What about you? What are you like?

I'm 5 3'-4' with broad shoulders and dark brown hair that's almost always up in a pony tail and if it's down it reaches a little past my shoulders. I have blue-gray-green eyes (depends on what I'm wearing) that hide behind red and black rectangular glasses. I'm almost always wearing a sweatshirt and jeans and my converse. Except on the weekends. I usually wear yoga pants. Muscular arms and legs from basketball and track/throwing. And believe it or not I'm actually the really quiet person who sits in the back introverting :)

Well I do get the urge to slap people sometimes. Mostly when they're being stupid and annoying. :)

The Egyptian series is The Kane Chronicles, by Rick Riordan.

Yeah I bought the first one. Have yet to read it.

We WERE watching the princess bride, but my dad left, so me and my friends changed the movie to Deadpool ;)

We watched it yesterday!

The Princess Bride is a movie you can watch over and over again and never get tired of it.

My dad wanted to watch it again because yesterday he had to go to the loo and missed ONE SCENE.

But if you miss one scene, it feels like you've missed 1/2 or more of the movie. And you've skipped out on a good part.

Have you guys read the book a princess bride?

Nope. Have you? I honestly didn't know it was a book until a few weeks ago.

Yeah. I found out about the book last year, so I ran to the nearest library so I could read it.

Is it a remake, or did they base the movie on it?

They based the movie on the book, and of course there are a few differences (like most movie adaptations) but they are pretty similar.
