"The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks" is divided into three different parts: Life, Death, and Immortality. Did you have a favorite part of the book?
I thought Immortality was most interesting, specifically the author capturing Deborah's journey in learning more about her mom and sister. The chapter "Heavenly Bodies" put science and religion at odds with each other, and showed how both were used to make sense of the situation. More science-minded, I appreciated seeing that different perspective.
