Wow, I can't believe how much I had forgotten. I'm so glad we are doing a re-read, it's all coming back to me. I know I've read some of the differences the TV show will have from the book, but it's nice to get refresher on the book before the show starts.

Prologue - Chapter 4 (view spoiler)[The prologue is just so sad and I still hate Adam's mom!!! Once again I'm so taken by art based on confessions. Such a cool and different idea. I had forgotten about Auburn's roommate and thought it was so funny how she drilled Owen when they went to the bar that first night. Love how much they connect right away. (hide spoiler)]

That prologue!!! I can't believe I fogot that either!!! One of my favorite quotes was from the prologue!!

So I am sitting in the eye doctor's office reading this book....so not the appropriate place to enjoy this novel!!! People are looking at me crazy while I snicker at Auburn and Owen's exchange......and then I see the first painting and I want to cry....I forgot how beautiful it was!!

Chapter 10 (view spoiler)[It's so different reading this book when you know what is going on. I'm so angry with Owen's dad, but I didn't really know what was going on at this point of the book when I first read it. Confession - I hate Trent and Lydia!!!! Trent is such a cocky bastard going after Owen, arresting him and warning him off of Auburn. And Lydia not showing up for Auburn's 21st birthday is awful. It's so funny because as I'm reading the book I'm remembering things and getting so mad. (hide spoiler)]

Finished (view spoiler)[ Loved the ending all over again. I remembered the hospital and the painting, but I forgot it was his first and his inspiration. Love the re-read and boy did I need it. I had forgot a lot. Now I can't wait for the series!!! (hide spoiler)]

Finished(view spoiler)[ so I totally agree Barb, I'd like to hear that car ride too. You know what I wonder...how was Adam so great and his mom and brother are horrible? I mean from the beginning Trey is borderline evil. I loved the reread, and like Chris needed it because I forgot a few things. I want to see how Owen the cat being stuffed rather than real plays into this. Since it's a series I can't wait to see what's added.
