Well since I have been a member (which isn't long). But I have really spent allot of time looking through the folders, and I have noticed that some folders have been neglected for years (minus conversation). I have been trying to think up ways to bring life back to them. I even noticed the FB group is a bit dead. Does anyone else notice this, or am I really stepping on some toes here, which I am not meaning to at all. But this just happens to be my favorite group yet, and how I have overlooked it is beyond me, because I have been a member for quite a few years now. I guess I will just shut up now. And I am sorry if I have over stepped my bounds here. 😉
No toes have been stepped on. Don't worry we are a lot tougher than that!
We have tried over the years to keep this group active by creating new topics and highlighting some of the older topics when we think it's appropriate rather than constant nagging.
This month is actually our revamp month. this is the time of year we reevaluate topics. Some are years old (as yo have noticed) and have been switching from active and not active for a while. Every year I try to see if it would be appropriate to just delete and start again. This is a very hard thing to do as the topic is great and the response from our members are quite often priceless. But we have to do something to keep it active so we have a few options, keep it and hope that someone like yourself shows an interest and gets things going again. Highlight the topic in our newsletter. Or delete and repost ... The most notable topic I did this with was the welcome topic. I basically restarted it. And that's what I try to to around here. Restart topics of interest. Send out newsletters to highlight an old or revamped topic. And to highlight current and ongoing topics such as the BOM and Challenges.
Keeping this group active is not entirely up to us mods. We can post great topics but if nobody comments in them well we can't do much. Apart from what I've already mentioned that is all we can do.
So feel free to comment on the old topics. The Mods and I will be visiting your comment as soon as we are able.
Who knows. Maybe you might be the one who starts a great conversation.
As for the Facebook group... It's only me posting... And I'm trying my best. I have noticed it gaining a bit of momentum lately. So hopefully it will be better soon!

Adele, thank you very much for this wonderful feedback. And I am going to continue to post in them even if they are 2 or 3 years old, lol! Happy reading!
We love to see active members Jody, so if you want to try breathing life into older topics, it sounds great!!!

What can we, as Mods, do to make participation more easy for you? Do you want to see a change to BOM? Do you want to see things that are not here? What can we do to ensure you love to come in here and are excited about participating in conversations?
Let us know what you want and how you would like us to proceed to keep the Club busy, active, and interesting.
Please feel free to post here, if you do not want it public, message a Moderator.
we are all here on and off constantly so you might get one of us!
