I remember reading a book when I was a child, in the 70's/80's and I can't find it anywhere!
It's about a crocodile that keeps swallowing things around the house on accident. His poor mother tries everything to help. Putting a zipper on his mouth, a sock, etc,
His mother always says "if you would only keep your mouth closed". It had really fun illustrations too.
I would really like to find a copy for my daughter, I really remember enjoying this book with my mom and I can't find the title or author anywhere! If you have any ideas, I'd really appreciate it! Thank you!

I believe you want Keep Your Mouth Closed, Dear - some sources report it's an alligator, not a crocodile.
