The story begins with Forde's abduction. Were you almost certain at the time that it was related to the Millhouse case?

Related? Yes. Were the Millhouse's totally responsible, no. I never bought them as the masterminds behind the kidnapping.

I felt the same way as Anita. I thought there was a relationship between Ford's abduction and the Millhouse trial, but the way it was written had me leaning to someone else as the "bad" guy.
