Joseph transfers to the VCET unit so he can pursue Daphne but then backs off for nine months because he thinks she's seeing Clay. Should he have tried or did he do the right thing?

Joseph was really stupid not to at least clarify the relationship between Daphne and Clay. All he would have had to do was just ask her out to dinner.

Or ask someone else that would have known. He had friends that were friends of hers as well. I thought that was weird.

I thought it was a stretch that this man would upend his life and career and then be stalked because he thought she was seeing someone. Rose could have come up with better reasoning.

I agree. That he wouldn't at least find out, through brother Grayson at least, if she was seeing anyone before requesting a transfer was just not believable.
