Mystics discussion

This is the middle of the camp.

June stood in the middle of Central Square, surveying the current occupations of the camp. She smiled as she noticed the children playing. June scanned every little crack and crevice that she could find around the camp, checking to make sure everything was as it should be.

Viper strode on to the square and the children stopped to watch her, their eyes followed her graceful and skilful movements. She hated the feeling of judgment that she felt form there stares. Her evil past still haunted the people of good but Viper ignored it. Her steps hurried towards the training grounds.

June nodded to Viper as she passed flashing a quick smile, "Where are you off to, Viper?"

Viper stopped and turned to June. "Well I-I've just finished training with Gabe so I thought I should head back to the dorms. Suns setting you know."

"Ah, yes. Would you care for some company or are you off?", June asked politely.

Gabe comes up behind them and waves, "Hey June." he greets.

"Hey Gabe." Viper says.

June nods a greeting, "Hello, Gabe."

Viper shuffles on her feet not sure what to say. She glances between Gabe and June.

Gabe smiles and comes up beside Viper, "Whats up?"

June shrugged, "Not much. How are you doing?"

She looks at June then smiles up at Gabe. "Nothing I was just heading back to the dorms. You okay?" Viper said politely, her socially skills defiantly not the best

Archimedes enters the square, eyes sweeping beneath the cowl of his cloak.

"I'm great." Gabe says in response to June and waits for her to reply to Viper.

"Yes, I'm fine," She waved a quick hand at Archimedes as he entered the square, "I was just... standing here, I guess," June shrugged, "I can't ever shake the feeling that something bad will happen."

"I don't blame you war waits for no one." Viper smiles coldly, She turns to Gabe and asks, "Who's that?" Pointing to the edge of the square.

"Yeah?" Gabe asks curiously, "That's weird..." he follows Viper's gaze, "I can't tell with the cloak." he says suspiciously.

June shook her head, "Relax. Its Archimedes."

Viper's gaze narrows and her stance changes to her battle stance. Untrusting of the new person. She slowly turns to June and Gabe. "I think I'm going to have to go guys, night time is a dangerous place."

"Um okay." Gabe says- he didn't want to say anything about how it was safer here because it wasn't always the case.

"Good point Viper... although I might just stay out for a while...," June said.

"I'm not super tired." Gabe agrees, "And curfew isn't really enforced since Ashea got taken."

"Right. Viper? You up to night watch with us or...?", June asked.

"Umm...Yeah Sure." Viper said distracted.

Gabe smiles, "Awesome."

"Perfect!," June looked around, "Now we can watch each other's backs!"

"Yeah. So what do we do?"

"Take watch!" Gabe says with a smirk, "Stake out the borders!"

June nodded her agreement, "And watch for intruders."

"Should I shift?" She asked eyes darting between the two of them.

"You can." he nods.

"If you are, then I will too," June agreed.

"What's your animal?" Viper asked curious. She had a thing about wolves she didn't like them much. She wasn't sure if it was just the good old Cat Vs Dog thing or something deeper.

"Tiger... and owl," June said nonchalantly, "Yours?"

Gabe listens to them talk.

"Panther and a snake." Viper smiles a wicked smile. "A Viper."

"I can do this!" Gabe says and sits indian style and floats in the air with a cheesy grin.

"Hence the nickname, I should have known," June smiled.

Viper laughs at Gabe and turns back to June. "It's not a nickname, my parents just weren't very imaginative." She shrugged.

June smiled at Gabe, laughing at Viper's comment. "Race you, Gabe!" She shifted into a snowy owl and began flying around Gabe's and Viper's heads.

Gabe laughs and runs after her- in the air- using the air to push himself forward faster

Viper felt her Panther and Snakes erg to run after the snowy owl and eat it. That would probably spoil the game so she just stood still and watched them fly.

June flew back to the ground, turning back into a human, "Come on Viper! Lets go!" She quickly turned into a white tiger and ran after Gabe.

Viper sighed and shifted into a Panther. She sprinted after the Tiger and ended up flying past them both. Pausing she waited for June and Gabe to catch up.

Gabe catches up after a second, "You're pretty fast!"

June caught up, and bumped the panther with her nose, as a friendly greeting/congradulations.

Viper shifts. "Yeah, us Panthers are like shadows you see them then you don't." She grins.

Gabe laughs, "Well I am like the opposite of shadowy and subtle."
