Lör K. (transsyo) Mild Abuse Warning

Hush Hush

Hush little baby, don't start to cry,
Monsters don't live under your bead,
You find them all in your head.

Hush little darling, don't say a word,
The screams you hear
Are not your fear.

Hush little baby, get some rest,
No-one is hiding in your room
Mommy walked into a broom.

Hush little darling, it's alright
Turn your ear from the yells at night,
It's nothing more than that mean night blight.

Come on, little darling,
Time to wake up,
Its time to go and see grandma.
Grab your little rabbit and wrap up warm.
Time to go see the puppy you love.

Don't mind my bruised face, darling,
Mommy just didn't get a Carling,
When you're older you'll understand,
For now, hush, and cuddle Bumper.

Kao Narvna (kaonarvna) | 6 comments « Rinfotzando »

A berceuse of disrupted rhythm,
Syncopated Beats--they're meant
To speak tranquility, controlled by
Maligning conductor’s Hand.

His gentle hushes Fade with
Time, as do my Sight and
Breath; rests within the minor key
Becoming all to frequent.

Tunes of body's province come
Rinfotzando towards my Fall--
Metronome of Heart work never
More, as my Throat, from his Grip,
Drops.

Lullaby

the birds are moving out near the horizon, lifting off from the vast land and I can count them:
one two
one two
the little china vase on the end table is a crazy pattern of colours that swirl like duelling demigods:
red blue
red blue
each grain of the polished wood table has its own imperfection, tiny knotholes no one ever sees:
three four
three four
the faucet in the kitchen beyond has a psychedelic way of dripping, calling through the ages:
no more
no more
my hands are white and shaking with some strange old people palsy and I can’t count my fingers:
five six
five six
the carpet beneath wriggles with sin, loop after loop all strangely stained with a slow and rusty paste:
can’t fix
can’t fix
somehow I am suddenly up in the sky. a grounded bird, my beak parts wide each count of the song:
seven eight
seven eight
and on my knees all numb and cold, grasping for the clouds that fell away and yet unmoving still:
don’t wait
don’t wait
my eyes are waxed still in my head like a dolls’ but they are not blue, it isn’t right so why count on:
nine ten
nine ten
a gaping hole is left inside. why does it take this long to leave my breath behind and die:
the end
the end

Ever | 1 comments Somewhere in the meadow
there is a scarecrow

Somewhere down the hills
there is is a trill

Somewhere out the seas
there blows a breeze

Somewhere up the skies
there someone cries

Somewhere on the earth
there is a birth

My sweet little love
I hope you remember
that somewhere in the universe
there will always be a home
for you my darling

Close your eyes
my beautiful angel
Please don't forget
this lullaby

NerdyJediGymnast | 66 comments The Light in a Lullaby
(Dedication to the song my mom sang to me when I was little :3)

Every night, the darkness would come
To swallow me whole and make me numb
It slithered in my room, silky and death-like
No stopping motion
Just quick, ready to strike

It curled and coiled
Every twist malicious
Cold and black
Evil and mysterious

Its coming...its coming
Its coming for me
I can barely move, let alone scream

But if I dont say something.....its the end of me

"Mama...MAMA!"

There she is. My knight in shining armor to save me from this. My hero, my star, my love

Mom

She sings a song
A lullaby for me
The light in the dark
And I see it flee

Her voice makes rays of sunlight
Bursting through the curls of darkness
It hisses and screams as it runs away from the magic

The magic in her voice
The magic in the words
The magic in the music
The magic that makes her heard

A sweet lullaby for me
A sweet song my mother sings
She's done this since I was a baby and it never gets old
As she makes light out of love and her heart full of gold

Amit Singh (amitsinghproductions) | 5 comments TICKET TO DREAMLAND © Amit Singh

A soothing song from a simpler time,
Often hummed to the tune of a nursery rhyme,
So much more than words, an expression of love,
From the lips of those we were most fond of,
Saving us from fears we made up in our head,
Chasing the monsters, from under our bed,
We drifted off to the sound of 'rockabye',
Our ticket to dreamland, sweet lullaby

precious darling, precious darling
please don't cry,
i'm gonna sing you a little lullaby
but, precious darling, this one is about someone new

once upon a time
there was a little girl with stormy eyes,
the color of the ever-shifting skies
she had long blonde hair and a bright smile

but, precious darling, nothing lasts forever,
and her smile wilted to a shadow of what it once was,
and tears filled those stormy eyes, just like rain does
'nothing lasts forever, nothing lasts forever' she told herself

precious darling, precious darling,
she knew her pain wouldn't last forever either
so she dried her tears, putting on a mask of calm weather
and, little darling, little darling, her pain did end

the girl with the strands of golden hair
and the blue eyes that raged like a storm
finally found her peace, so welcoming and warm
but not the way you think she did, precious darling
