Wool discussion

Hello! I'm looking for recommendations on books that will consume me the way I was completely taken up by Twilight when I was 19, by Hugh Howey's "Wool" books and by Harry Potter when I finally read them last year (at 30). A series would be great, but stand alone book recommendations are good too. What are the books you just couldn't put down and that wouldn't let you go when they were over?? TIA!
