Imagine my surprise to be reading Dances with Trout, thinking it was about fly fishing in America, when I came across a whole chapter on fly fishing in Scotland!

I've added The Last Bear by Mandy Haggith to my reading list. Thank you for your review of it and mentioning its commonalities with The Mists of Avalon. Although I am not a fan of The Mists of Avalon, I enjoy the genre.

Well I certainly haven't been very prompt about keeping my list up. It's New Year's Eve, so I'd better get to it!

I've surprised myself! I didn't realize I'd read so many books that about Scotland. I missed the challenge by 1, but I'll do better next year!
