Knuffle Bunny discussion

Knuffle Bunny is about a little girl named Trixie who is out and about running an errand with her daddy. Trixie does not know how to speak, but she can shout and make noises to receive attention. Her daddy decides to stop by a laundromat to wash clothes. Trixie is super excited to be there and wants to put the coins in and help her daddy as much as possible. After they finish, Trixie realizes something is missing. She cries and cries, but her daddy won’t listen. Trixie does not know how to help her daddy realize that she has forgotten something at the laundromat.
The devices in illustrations Knuffle Bunny uses is layout and design, which means the pictures in the the book are innovative. It has a cartoon style because Trixie has exaggerated facial expressions throughout the book and her daddy as well when he realizes what they left behind. The text of the book the author uses is language playfulness because Trixie shouts funny words throughout the book because she can’t speak.
