I just published a humorous parenting memoir called Stop Licking That and saw this discussion section. My first book is Between Families and is a fictional account of real life. It's a serious story that I wrote for kids I'd worked with in residential treatment. I wrote it to reflect the reality of their lives and the hope I had for them but also amid real circumstances.
