The only thing is, I'd check with the owner before making their LFL an actual OBCZ - I can imagine that an OBCZ might possibly generate even more activty & traffic than the owner would want to see.
Otoh, BC and LFL do have much the same goal, so activity is good! :)

Hey Judy, you are welcome to come on by my new LFL! ;)

I think it would also depend where the LFL is. There used to be one on Harvard's campus, for example--I'd feel free to bookcross there. On the other hand, my neighbors across the street have one in their yard (and I don't know my neighbors). I released one book there, but have never seen anyone else use that LFL, so...

Oh man. I do drive-bys all the time! Sometimes even on dead end roads. I figure if the stewards didn't want people to come, they wouldn't put up the book boxes!
I've since put up my own little library and my neighbors love it! And I love when people come visit. A good day is a day when my shelf gets changed up!

I live in a city that is friendly to these I've been thinking about putting one up near my house. Have you had a lot of issues with your Little Library?

I got a book in a series I was interested in but it's the third one in the series. No problem though. The library has the other two books so I guess it just pushed this up in my TBR pile. :)

I think LFL + BC = Joy!

So, I have a question. Is it acceptable to wild release a book in one of the many Little Free Libraries? Curious because I haven't noticed any mention of them (sorry if there's already a thread on this).
Do the LFLs frown upon it? Doesn't seem like they would because they share the same purpose.
Anyway, just wanted to put that out there!
