Penny | 2 comments We're listening to The Beekeeper's Apprentice ~ while riding in the car. We begin our days pretty early and have long drives back & forth to appointments etc. It's a Sherlock adventure with his 'young assistant' Mary Russell. Definitely a good read!
I get to knit while my hubby drives :)

Penny | 2 comments Should say 'good read'. Hi Kat, you're books sound very intriguing; good choices during sock madness!

thanks! i like both of them. i think the hamlet novelization is a good way to get into the topic short of reading shakespear himself. i am not a native englishspeaker and shakespear's language is not too easy for me...
the nightmanager is fairly easy to read and understand - in comparison... your book sounds interesting too!

Beverly Foyse | 1 comments i just started "The Survivors Club" by Lisa Gardner.

i am a huge fan of Harlan Coben, Linwood Barclay, and james patterson's womans murder club.
i have read EVERYTHING by them; and i am in need of a new author.

Ann Marie | 3 comments I'm Ann Marie.

I am jumping between two books right now, both written by Kim Harrison. Either The Operator or The Turn.

The first is the second book in her new series. The second is a prequel to her Hallows series.

I just can't read just one book at a time anymore then I can knit on one project at a time.

Anne | 1 comments I'm listening to The Luminaries whilst knitting.

Kat, Shakespeare isn't easy to read for a native English speaker either! :)

thank you anne! this lightens my day!
i imagine it's abit like reading old german for me- although Goethe is quite fine in my opinion and i do not know why, but i never had to read the nibelungen saga in school...

I have had to do that a couple of times. There are a couple of books that I started last year that I am going to have to start over either later this year or next.

Ann Marie | 3 comments Hi. Finished The Operator. Picking up something completely different.

Reading High Fantasy, third in the Feedback Loop series by Harmon Cooper. These are techno punk with a love story thrown in. I like the way Mr Cooper writes.
