Lorien wanted to twist her head so she could see who was speaking but failed. It was very unlikely she was going to be out of this place in now time but that didn't mean it wasn't impossible. So she bit her lip out of the being nervous, keeping quiet.
Lorien's eyes widened in fear. She couldn't use her abilities because of the bracelet? So she foolishly attempted to pry the bracelet off of her. Why couldn't the Neverseen have overlooked that?
East? Well where on earth was east? These dungeons seemed to be designed so you could lose your way no matter where you ran. Lorien cringed at the banging noise and just couldn't move.
Well that still meant he bit, didn't it? Lorien nodded, and slowly made her way into the cell. She didn' see any point in trying to escape so why should she now?
Eat her? Lorien gulped and slowly made her way over to a small corner. She glanced up at the darkness and tried to see if anyone was really there.
Lorien stared at the young man and gave him a weak smile, pretty much scared to death on the inside. "Are you Andrew? They certainly seemed interested in you." Well the fact was, she wanted to cry. So very badly but what good would it do for her? Absolutely nothing!
Leo? That was voice's name? "Sorry, you did say Leo right?" Lorien asked Andrew, hating how stupid she must've sounded. Surely he wouldn't be talking about the same Leo who was tutoring Clara? Could he? But it would make so much more sense if that was the truth.
"I don't know. . ." Lorien said, rubbing her arms together and sat down on the hard floor. "They never said why I was here but what can you expect?" She snorted bitterly. "They're the Neverseen after all."
"Lorien Forster," she responded with a smile, wondering if she could do anything to help with those scars. Well now that her abilities were blocked, she couldn't do a single thing! And that frustrated her. "The Black Swan?" She cocked her head. "Aren't they trying to defeat the Neverseen?"
"I didn't?" Lorien said, politely shaking his hand. "Well, I don't actually know. There was a girl that gif captured from the Neverseen, so we were freaking out over it and we'll, she popped back home." She rubbed her arm. "I still don't know how she escaped from the Neverseen."
"Yes, little Clara," Lorien mumbled softly, bringing her knees close to her chest. She chuckled at his question. "I'm afraid not. I just. . . take good care of her." She didn't want to mention that she was the girlfriend of Clara's brother, seeing as though that was irrelevant as of now.
"For about a day I guess," Lorien said. She widened her eyes when she made the connection. How did she not see this before? "You know Kai? She's fine! She actually helped me and. . . a friend to try and find Clara!@
"I think she has everyone under the assumption that she's a guy," Lorien gave a weak smile and continued, "She's fine. She has a base in Foxfire and that's how Kai helps us!@
"Right," Lorien said, agreeing with Andrew and grateful for his concern. "But seeing as though I can't use my abilities, I probably won't be of much help."
"Oh really?" Lorien said, standing up and tried to peek through the bars. "Should we wish for her? But she and Tark said they were gettting something called pizza? Any idea what that is?"
"Wow, thanks," Lorien said sarcastically while rolling her eyes in a playful manner. "So Kai taught you a few tricks, huh?"
Man, was this guy a Telepath of what? Of course Lorien didn&it want to think about Lahke! It would hurt her knowing that she had allowed herself to walk right into a trap when Lahke needed her. So she stayed silent and only nodded, allowing Andrew to look over the bracelet
"Yup!" Lorien replied, nodding and glad she could distract both him and her with something other than relationships. "I'm a Level Four still!"
"Oh," Lorie said cocking her head. "Did you attend Exillium then? I hear they trained their prodigies in all sorts of skills!"
Lorien smiled then winced a little when she expected him to crack the bracelet. "How's it coming along?"
"Tha's true," Lorien said, looking out through the bars. "If they come back, what should we tell them?@
"Have you figured out why she wwanys to stay here with the Neverseen?" Lorien asked him. She always assumed the Neverseen only chose members who were loyal not wreckless and rebellious.
"So it's because of family?" Lorien asked him. How strange. Surely Max knew what the Neverseen did to people. Unless she wanted to be ignorant.
"Wow," Lorien said. She couldn't imagine having a sibling in the Neverseen. But she did sooooo. . . "It's amazing what people do for family."
Lorien cockles her head at Andrew. "How close are you with Kai? Are you two cousins or something?"
"Huh," Lorien said, thinking about what he said. "How did you know Kai? Was it through family or did you attend the same school?"
"Oh wow," Lorien said excitedly. "That's pretty cool! Being close friends just because you bumped into each other!" Now she could recall the first time she had actually spoken to Lahke. She actually bumped into him while trying to balancing her packages. It almost seemed like yesterday.
Lorien couldn't believe it! That infernal bracelet and she could finally use her abilities. Time to get cracking! Lorien extended her hands out and frost covered the bars and wrapped around them instantly. She snapped her fingers and conjured a bag her father kept around. Cringing when the ice shattered, Lorien ushered Andrew out.
Lorien sprayed ice shards from her palms and shoved Mac out of the way, dragging Andrew's wrist. "What's your ability?"
Lorien made an ice wall behind them as they ran. "Great. I didn't think through this part. Where's the exit?"
"Easy for you to say," Lorien mumbled, still running. Now how were they suppose to get out of here? Maybe freeze the walls? Excellent idea! Lorien extended her hand and the wall closest to then froze onto ice, still having the bat in hand she released Andrew's wrist and whacked the wall with all the strength she had. It didn't do anything. "Maybe you should try," Lorien said, holding out the bat.
Lorien didn't have time for this. So she twisted her wrist in front of her and ice spiraled up Max's body. "Sorry," she said, running right out of the hole. Don't grab me, don't grab me.
Lorien looked over her shoulder and saw that Max was gone and Andrew was not too far away. The outside of the dungeons was very dark and was built on the edge of a cliff surrounded by water. So they couldn't go very far unless either of them had a leaping crystal.
"I thought you tossed in back in the cell, why?" Lorien asked, feeling dread build up inside of her.
"Shoot," Lorien mumbled, snapping her fingers and smiled brightly when the bracelet landed in her palm. "Being a Conjurer certainly does come with it's benefits."
"I think so," Lorien said softly. "She did seem awfully worried when you left. So I'm sure she's still trying to find you."
Lorien smiled at their short reunion and nodded at Ash. "How did you get here Kai?"
((I'm sorry for the late reply! >.<_>>

Lorien couldn't help but let out a chuckle. "So does this mean we can go back to the Lost Cities?"
"You did?" Lorien asked her, surprises that Kai would even ask Lahke for something. "Where is he?"
Foxfire. He was so very close that Little down could scarcely believe it! She smiled brightly at Kai and hugged the girl. "Thank you."
Lorien smiled a bit before pulling away, actually happy she was going to see Lahke again.
((Sooo, to a Foxfire Hall or somewhere else?))
