If readers don't like baseball they will like it after they read this book, Heat. Heat is an action packed book throughout whole the whole book. Mike Lupica best selling book. 12 year old Michael Arroyo lives in Bronx New York and originally from Cuba.He lives with his 17 year old brother and is a big New York Yankees fan. Michael loves playing baseball and enjoys it he plays for a summer ball team and is one of the beast pitchers in the league. A lot of the other opposing teams get very curious about the age of Michael. Michael can't let the league investigate him because his father died a year ago and he is living with his 17 year old brother which is not legal in the United States. So Michael's brother and Michael have to avoid the leagues investigators to be able to play this season and also to be able to live with his brother. His dream is to one day play in the Yankee stadium one time in the little league World Series for his team.Throughout this whole book Michael and his brother go through sorrow for their late father and perseverance for Michael being able to play in the league. At many time throughout this book he fells lonely because he has no one to watch him play because of his brother working all the time to afford and apartment for the two of them. Michael heroes that he looks up too when he is down is the New York Yankee team he idolizes them and when ever he is lonely at home he will watch the Yankees games. This book would rate at a 5/5 stars because it really was an enjoyable book to read and keep you interested through out the whole thing. If readers enjoy sports books this would be a good book to read
