Tv Freaks discussion

This is where you come to have your say in either what you want us to watch together, or just what you want me to watch :p

Once we've decided on a show (and possibly a schedule with which to watch said show) I'll create a thread under the Shows subsection.

There are many TV/Netflix series I would like to catch up with. I'm currently watching Westworld. I'll follow it by watching Humans later. I am yet to watch latest season of TWD. I'm also waiting for new season of Into The Badlands to finish so I can watch episodes without waiting for a week for the next one.

I got The Sopranos lately and I'm going to get Deadwood as well. I'm also interested to watch some of well-known classic shows such as Twin Peaks...

I think it would be more helpful if I make a neat list of series that I have but haven't watched yet.

Humans, like the robot one? The one about the synths? Because I watch that. Haven't for a while, but I got to the second season I think. I enjoyed it, but then we just stopped watching it.

Are any of those anything you'd be interested in buddy watching?

And what's TWD?

TWD is The Walking Dead. Humans is the one about robots. It's similar to Westworld :)

Yes I would be interested to watch any of the shows. The only matter for me is that I can plan ahead so I can follow up with buddy watching. Of course like buddy reading if I can't manage to buddy watch on a certain date I'll let my buddy know.

I'm currently watching Westworld too! :D How far along are you?

And Maddison, this is a great idea! I just need the extra push sometimes when it comes to TV shows.

@Lee: How do you mean plan ahead? And have you started Humans yet?

@Sreshtha: Thanks! Anything you want to suggest?

Here's my list for now:

Westworld (currently watching, I'm on third episode)

Better Call Saul (I have watched Breaking Bad)
Black Sails
Deadwood
Dexter
Fear The Walking Dead
Hell on Wheels
House of Cards
Into the Badlands (waiting for second season to finish, then I'll watch that season)
Lost (I know, I know)
Marco Polo
Mr Robot
Once Upon a Time
Orphan Black
Outcast
Outlander
Prison Break
The 100 (I've only watched a couple of episodes but I would do a re-watch)
The Last Kingdom
The Sopranos
The Whispers
Twin Peaks
Underground
Vikings

It might take couple years for me to watch them XD

If anyone is interested to buddy watch any of the shows, they are welcome to let me know :)

With Westworld, are you actually only onto the third episode of the first season? Because I could catch up and we could watch that together XD

And I'll watch any of those with you apart from Better Call Saul (tried BB but didn't like it) and FTWD (not started that show).

I'm up to Season 2 of Lost (really need motivation to finish that one haha)
Season something of Prison Break :p I think Season 2? Can't remember.
Up to date with The 100

We could just go from the top of the list if you wanted, and watch 1 show at a time? XD

I'm going through and writing down the ones that are on Netflix:

House of Cards
Lost (somewhere in second season)
Marco Polo
Once Upon A Time
Orphan Black
Prison Break (somewhere in second season)
The Last Kingdom
Vikings

All of the others aren't on Netflix, but I can download them :p

So ya just let me know what you want to do, if you want to watch any of those with me, if you want me to catch up to you in Westworld, I can do that :)

Really pleased that the first person who commented actually wants to participate. I'm super excited for this to take off!

Lee you are my new favourite person! I'm completely up to date with Humans and I LOVE it. The cliffhanger ending of season 2 basically killed me.
U watching Prison Break? How far are you? I'm at Season 4 rn and been trying to catch up cos season 5 dropped on Tuesday but got my head buried under revision.
I watched Mr Robot too. A little crazy. Stopped after season 1 because I found season 2 a bit boring. And sometimes I didn't get what was going on. It wasn't easy viewing in my opinion.
I've always wanted to watch TVD but gosh they have like 9 seasons or something and I'm a slow watcher so the show really has to be good for me to commit that long.

Haha I'm a slow watcher as well. And there's 8 seasons of TVD XD I'm onto the 8th one, and I used to be up to date buuuut then stuff happened and I couldn't be bothered haha. Up to the second episode :p

I tried Dexter a month back I think. I stopped after 1min and 20 secs. That's my record. I'm quite notorious at leaving shows I can't be bothered with and I'm savage with leaving those shows haha! As u can tell I really love watching TV and movies. Check out my Pinterest page! (Link in my bio of my profile)

Are there any shows you want to recommend/watch with me Kadi? XD Sorry for being so pushy, I'm just pretty excited haha.

If you watch Vikings, Orphan Black, House of Cards or Marco Polo I will join in those ones. I would love to do Once upon a time but feel like its not on Netflix...

- [x] 13 Reasons Why - 1 Season
- [x] APB - 1 Season (on air)

The ones with X in the brackets are shows I'm up to date with.
Number of seasons listed for each show.
(Cancelled) meaning no new episodes are broadcasted because the show is over.
(On air) meaning new episodes are broadcasted weekly. (With the exception of The Flash which is on a 2 week break and will continue broadcasting until the end of the season)

I'm British so a lot of these shows are British shows which Americans find quite obscure (they're not so popular in America but they're super popular in England)

@Lee: It is on Netflix :) Any of those you're really excited to watch? And would you want to watch an episode a day/week or what?

@Kadi: Is that also how many seasons you've watched? Are there any that you haven't started? I've got 4 episodes to go of Shannara Chronicles XD Binge watched that on a plane ride a few months back.

Maddison wrote: "@Lee: How do you mean plan ahead? And have you started Humans yet?

For instance when I set 20th-25th to finish a season I would like to make sure nothing unexpected would happen so I can follow up the plan. It sucks when something comes up that I have to get busy with instead of following the plan, then as a result I have to let my buddy know I'll catch up later.

No, I haven't started Humans yet. I can start it right after finishing Westworld.

Ah right, so you can watch a season in 5 days?
Would you like me to catch up in Westworld?
And I'm up to the second season of Humans, if you want to let me know so I can join in?

Maddison wrote: "With Westworld, are you actually only onto the third episode of the first season? Because I could catch up and we could watch that together XD"

I haven't started third episode of first season yet and can wait for you to watch first two so we can watch it together :)

I can catch up for Lost and Prison Break by watching first seasons then we can watch them together as well! But you might need to wait for me because I'm a slow watcher too.

Got a good website for y'all to watch stuff on: www.europix.com (idk how to make it a hyperlink sorry I'm on my phone) but it's got almost all shows AND movies in really great HD quality.

And Maddie you should definitely watch Humans! Idk if the sci-fi part will appeal to you but it's really different but warning it's a little adult (I just skipped those parts)

Oh sweet! I'll watch those 2 episodes tomorrow then, and I'll let you know when I get there.

I'm totally fine with waiting. I'm not sure if I've said this yet, but I'm not a fast watcher XD If I get an episode in a day, I'm usually really lucky haha. So I'm fine with whatever schedule you want to set, if you do want to set one.
Shall I make threads for Westworld, Lost and Prison Break? That way, with Lost and PB you can post your thoughts on episodes or whatever so I can also get a reminder of what's happened/maybe explain some things if you're confused?

@Kadi: I'm onto the second season of Humans XD I like it.

And I can't get that link, but I've got my ways of watching shows XD

Kkkkk. Yeah Maddie create posts for each show so we can like discuss when uve watched the episodes and stuff

Are there any shows you want me to create threads for Kadi?

Ill keep an eye out for when you do some of the shows I'm interested in from your list :) What is humans about? and westworld? maybe I need to go out on a whim and start something ive never heard of :P

Maddie just create the PB thread and ill join in with u and Lee. Where r up to on PB I might rewatch with u if it's season 1 or 2

What shows are you interested in Shae? I could start one of them with ya :)

Humans is a show about these robots, but some of them aren't just robots, they've got feelings and stuff goes down, and it's cool haha.

Westworld: no idea, apparently it's similar to Humans, but I'm watching the first 2 episodes tomorrow so then I'm up to Lee and we can watch them together.

Season 2 I think XD I can't remember :p

I've created threads. Check out the main page :)

Hey Shae. Humans is about these synthetic robots which are used everywhere in the world to help people in their day to day lives. Then suddenly some synths become conscious... It's sci-fi and I reckon it counts as action too. It's got 2 seasons of I think 8 episodes each I can't remember properly.

Yeah 8 episodes, I think I'm onto the second episode of Season 2.

And I just checked with Prison Break, and I've watched Season 2, but didn't focus that much so I'll rewatch and focus :)

Maddison wrote: "Are there any shows you want me to create threads for Kadi?"

Sorry guys but I'm off to bed now :) I'll be on tomorrow to see what's happened (if anything).

This hasn't exactly turned out the way I thought it would XD I thought it'd be more like just a list of shows, and that'd be it, not be this much discussion XD But I like it, despite its' confusion.

U should watch Riverdale! It's on its first season. The entire cast is extremely good looking (hehe) and it's not much to catch up on. I'll watch it with u if ur up for it. Not sure if it's ur thing tho.
I've been told it's kind of like gossip girl but I've never watched gossip girl so I can't tell u that's true. It's a lap a murder mystery and it's dark, eerie and seductive

From Lee's list above I am interested in:

-House of Cards
-Orphan Black
-Vikings
-Marco Polo
-Prison Break

Other shows on my radar that I have wanted to watch are
-Vampire Diaries
-13 reasons why
-Gilmore Girls
-How to get away with murder
-Crown
-Stranger Things
-Downton Abbey
-North and South
-ANZAC girls
-Heroes
-Lost
-Party of Five
-Suits
-Teen Wolf
-Heartland

Literally just went through Netflix haha

I've watched the first episode and need to watch the rest. have you seen it? if not then yeah I'll watch with you. if you have then I don't wanna make you rewatch. how did you want to schedule it?

@Shae: I'll watch basically any of those :) talk in more detail tomorrow xD I promise. I just want to get something started haha. pleased I've decided on westworld

no worries! speak to you tomorrow about it :) Good night! and I might join the Riverdale watch too :D

I highly recommend Supernatural! I'm only on season 5 on netflix, but I love it!

I'm done with the first 7 episodes of Westworld. I'll join the Westworld thread after you both catch up.

Lol I feel u! I'm gonna watch a quick episode of powerless and then DROWN in further maths revision. Honestly such a pain. U think doing an extra GCSE would be like as simple as doing the first one but nope Edexcel kills people with "further PURE mathematics" grrrrrr I'm going to stop or I'll never end my rant
