Is anyone watching this? I'm caught up with this show minus yesterday's episode.

Shae and I are, but we're starting from the start, and alternating an episode of this and 13RW each day XD

I would like to watch this one but my schedule for tv series and books is so crammed I'm afraid I can't start watching it right now.

Even just 1 episode every 2 days?

Hmm, I'll see if I can manage it! XD This is going to be crammed with studies, a job, house chores, books and other tv shows, haha! If I can't watch an episode every 2 days I'll try to watch 2 episodes back to back so I can catch up.

@Alison I think some people already started and some of us are current with the show.

I checked beginning minutes of the show and it seems like a neat and interesting one. I'm looking forward to start it but would like to do on the day other people will start.

What got my attention is that there are some gorgeous ladies and handsome gentlemen in Riverdale :)

*cough cough* KJ Apa (who I'll gladly claim as he comes from NZ. His accent is just too perfect).

I just finished watching the first episode.. I need some time to adjust to the idea of the show because I was under the impression that this will be like the comics..

And yeah.. there are comics. But the comics are very light-hearted and different. It's okay though.. there were some elements of the comics that wouldn't go well as a TV show..

@Maddie I get u *wink wink* KJ is splendid but I've personally latched on to Cole. Jughead is the cutest. Broody, mysterious and actually really nice. Trust me you guys will see... (No spoilers from me!)

@Sreshtha yeah the show is based on the Archie comics but ur right the tone is like way different. The comics are light-hearted and funny and the show is dark and mysterious. Honestly all I think they did was just take the characters, I can't see anything else that remains

@Kadi: Na I like KJ haha. I think I just keep attaching Cole to his young Disney self. I mean, he's cute and all, but I've always had a thing for KJ, since he starred in a local show in NZ.

I'm quite looking forward to watching this show tomorrow. When I post my thoughts, let me know if I'm posting too many thoughts, or what XD I don't wanna annoy people by saying every little thing if they don't want. So I'll just do that with tomorrow's episode, and let me know what you think.

I just finished watching the second episode.. Specially, Archie and Ms. Grundy's affair.. I won't be able to read the comic books without thinking of this xD I really loved Jughead though.. he was in fact my favourite in the show.. Also, kind of curious about the entire Jason thing.. specially, after what was revealed in the end. (hide spoiler)]

Episode 1 (view spoiler)[ I didn't know Josie and the Pussycats came from this comic! I'm loving their outfits, the cars etc. It gives you a real American comic book feel I think. Cant believe Dylan from 90210 is in it as Archie's Dad! It makes me feel so old haha! I am liking the love triangle between Archie and those two girls (forget their names). I haven't watched episode 2 yet- I started to but then Albee woke up so have been busy with him.... will get to it soon hopefully ;) haven't read a single thing today! are you going to sprint at all before or after work?

Uhm yeah shows are keeping me really busy :/ And yeah I'm definitely reading a lot less now, with all of these shows.

I might be on a little after work, as I leave in 2 hours, and I'll try to get my two shows watched before then. So, if all goes to plan, I'll be on for a few hours after work (so 9, which is when you get back anyway). I need to get my current read read so that I can start my books for my challenges. At least tomorrow I only have a Westworld and a 13RW to watch, so I should be able to sprint a lot more tomorrow.

Oh thank gosh only the first episode was an hour! This one's back to 40 minutes. That makes me feel able to manage it better XD

I'll do proper updates for Episode 2, as you haven't watched it yet, so maybe as you watch you can pause at the right spot and read my updates? Just maybe, assuming you have it on Netflix?

I thought it was so wrong that Veronica and Archie kissed when playing spin the bottle. One thing they could've done so I wasn't so annoyed was to not have regretted it. That's one of my pet peeves. (hide spoiler)]
