I want to catch up in this show, but will wait to see who else will watch with me.

although, I have a lot of questions. Kadi, is it okay if I irritate you in this thread? After the ending of the first episode, it opened so many speculations and questions in my head that I need to discuss it with someone

Also, Dr. Wells is so shady. He seems oddly suspicious. I'd think that he's the one who killed his mother and that he is the other Flash.. but Idk at this point because time travel might just be possible in the Flash universe.. Basically, I'm trying to speculate but also super confused (hide spoiler)]

See there's a crazy plot twist moment where ur like whaaaaat but it'll all make sense in that moment but even though ur kinda along the right lines you also don't know the full picture yet.
And you're completely right! Wells is super shady. Personally I find him really creepy but he is a genius and he came up with the infamous catchphrase that gets stuck on the show "Run, Barry, run!"
You're also right anything is possible in the Flash universe! (Including time travel but that comes in later) (hide spoiler)]

Also, I really really like it so far!! And I love that it leaves itself open to so many possibilities :D

Wait till it gets all tangled up (and when the time travel gets involved it'll be crazy) and watch the characters develop.

Well no you don't have to. If I'm honest I felt like I needed to and the one that's probably most closely related is Arrow because Flash was launched off Arrow (Grant first appeared in an Arrow episode). Then Legends of Tomorrow is a show you kind of only get if you watch both Arrow and Flash because it takes Flash and Arrow minor characters and they go off on time-travelling adventures.
Supergirl was launched because of the popularity of Flash so the producers were like hey! Let's make a girl superhero show for tv!

I wouldn't say you have to watch them because there's actually only a couple of crossovers on the show: Season 1: Arrow and Flash crossover on Flash
Season 2: Arrow and Flash crossover on Flash
Flash and Supergirl Crossover on Supergirl season 1
Season 3: 4 episode crossover between Arrow, Flash, Supergirl and Legends (each episode on each diff show)

Personally I like flash the most and I don't watch Arrow because season 1 is too boring and u have to watch that to get the rest of the show and I find its way too much action and not enough storyline and I don't really find too much action interesting

I don't watch Supergirl because I find it too cliche, I don't like the main girls acting and the CGI is waaaay more obvious than it is in Flash like she's lifting trucks and shooting lasers and I find it too unrealistic

I don't watch Legends of Tomorrow either because even tho it was good at the start I stopped mid-season because I found that it was repetitive and wasn't getting anywhere.

By all means check out the season 1 trailers and see if you like them! If you do want to watch Legends of Tomorrow I recommend watching it after finishing Season 1 of the flash because it would make more sense that way

I watch super girl, flash, arrow, and legends of tomorrow and I love them all. They are trying to link all the shows together. I'll watch them all wth you if you want to!

Wow Haley! That is outstanding commitment to the DC arrowverse you have there! I guess it makes sense doing that as they keep linking them together you're right but I really can't stand Supergirl the cringe omg and I find legends is too boring and I would have to force myself to finish season 1 before moving on to season 2. I feel like out of all the ones I don't watch I would probably like Arrow but I don't know it's very different from flash because it's much darker and broodier I guess I should give it a try but maybe when it's on a break (and I am too) so I can fully catch up

I think the special effects problem is because of the fact that it's a CW show.. I had the same issue with Shadowhunters. I will probably watch all four starting with The Flash just to see what I think about it.. and aso, thanks for taking the time out to tell me all that.. at least, I'll know what to expect going in

I would love to, I've already started all of them and tried to watch as they aired but it was difficult to keep up. I'm on season 2 for supergirl and legends. I believe I'm on season 4 of arrow & season 2 or 3 of flash. I may rewatch season 2 of flash to remember everything that happened.

@Sreshtha you watched Shadowhunters? I gave up after 2 episodes because of the AWFUL acting. The girl who played Clary couldn't act! And she's the main character and gosh she made it so cringe with her rubbish acting. And then all the characters didn't look anything like I imagined them from the book. The movie was way more accurate with what I expected the characters to look like. I mean of course the plot of the show was going to be good because it came from the books but the acting and the appearance of the characters put me off. Plus I liked the movie so my expectations of the show were quite high

Oh! I didn't see the movie. And I couldn't get past 1.5 episodes of the first season.. And you're right! It was mainly due to her god awful and cringy acting. And I also found the chemistry between her and Dom Sherwood to be lacking.. In the books, I couldn't get enough of Clary and Jace (I was so sad when we find out you-know-what at the end of City of Bones)..

@Haley @Kadi - Barry is living proof that a superhero does not have to be dark, broody and mysterious to be likeable :D He's adorable! Really!

Yes! He is absolutely adorkable!! Even the guy who plays Barry, Grant Gustin is really adorbs. You should see him with paparazzi it's hilarious

Oh god yes Clary's cringe acting!!!! It's still bad, and I'm up to date with it.

And I watch DC, but that's the only one I watch. Used to watch Arrow, then got bored. Didn't wanna watch Supergirl, as that seemed to kind of not be as serious as the others. And didn't watch Flash because it was linked to Arrow, and I just couldn't be bothered XD

Really? Thank God you told me that.. One of my friends told me that it gets better towards the end so, I was a little convinced to give it a shot again

Maybe it does get better but to be honest I cannot get over the cringey acting.
