Wonderful! Looks like a book that I may have to add to my TBR list.
Is it ok if the book has two authors and only one of them fits the color?Like Untamed by Victoria Green and Jinsey Reese
Thanks

One author is fine. This book will work.
Bea wrote: "Would the name GREENE work or does the last E invalidate it?"Sorry, no variations allowed.
Allison wrote: "I'm going to read The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown"I enjoyed that book. Hope you like it too!

Since the task currently states that the word must stand alone and not be found within another word, technically a hyphenated word would be a variation, so this would not be allowed. Hopefully, you can use this book for another task.

Looking for Alaska and the Fault in Our Stars were my favorites so far also. Have you seen the movie for The Fault in Our Stars yet? Not sure if I want to or if I'll find it a disappointment from the book.
The movie was wonderfully done! Usually book movies anger me! Even my hubby loved it (shhh don't tell him I said that on the interwebs).
He was actually grumbling about having to go and was shocked when I was right that it was good and not at all stereotypically teen movie!
Hello, everyone! In case anyone has any questions, I am going out of town tomorrow morning and will not have internet access until I return on Monday night.
Just to double check, so to make sure I am on the same page as you, what do you mean when you say "Series titles are NOT allowed."...It might not actually have any effect on what I might choose to read, but I will ask anyways :)

The original genus edition of Trivial Pursuit is my favorite game EVER. In fact, we still have the game. The original pie pieces were brown, yellow, blue, pink, green and orange.
For this task, read a book with one of the original colors: brown, yellow, blue, pink, green, or orange in the title, subtitle or author's name. The color must be a stand alone word. NO plurals, possessives or other variations may be used and it cannot be hyphenated or found within other words. Series titles are NOT allowed.
One of the greatest things about the SRC challenge is the new books that we find, so I do request that the book you choose for this task is not a reread. You CAN use an author that you have read before.
NOTE: Books with genre "Children's" or "Kids" that are at least 100+ pages and conform to all other SRC rules may be used for this task.
Required: State that this book is new to you when you post.
