Marianne Dobie | 49 comments Norse mythology told from the point of view of Hel, one of Loki's children. Largish print, largish line spacing. Hel spends most of her narrative complaining, hating, plotting revenge. She does have reason for feeling this way, but it does dominate the book. An act of kindness towards her causes her to reciprocate, but her motives are not wholly philanthropic. Could have done with more editing cuts. Means to be humourous, but overplayed.
