I'm pretty sure Vikings is on Amazon Prime. My dad loves this show. I really want to watch this show! Anybody got a start date planned?

I want to watch this one so badly too but haven't set a start date yet.

I am good to go as its on Netflix for me. I really like how in one of the other shows with Haley we are just having a due date as such of when to watch each episode- so if we did two a week, we just have to watch them by a certain day of the week. But it gives you 3 days for each episode to fit in when you can sit and watch. If that works for you guys I'm happy to start soon

Okay so when would you guys like to start and what days would you like to have them watched by?

I'm cool. I was able to borrow Season 1, so once I start I will spread it out based on the length of time I can keep them and also the number of episodes for the season. There are 3 discs, but no sure how many episodes that amounts to.

how long are they borrowed for Shan? I'm probably a bit banked up at the moment but could either do one a week, or start in a week or two and do 2 a week?

I feel like Shan'll be doing at least 1 a day XD

But I'm good for 1 a week if you wanted to do that. No way am I doing 1 a day of this as well.

Actually not in the mood to sprint. I want to just read by myself, lying on my bed XD Sorry we haven't talked today! And tonight I won't be on to sprint, as I'll be playing Dota. Somehow I think I won't be sprinting around 9 anymore, as I'm back into gaming :/

Normally I'm always up for sprinting, but today just not feeling it. I'm going to try read quite a lot of Reptile Room before I go to the movies in around an hour.

Trying to add this into my schedule. What days do we want to have episodes watched by?

Season1:Ep 1: I spent most of the episode confused. (view spoiler)[They started out with a bit of subtitles, so I thought that it was going to stay true to the language spoken during that time, in that part of the country, but then it was all English all the time. So why start with another language and subtitles? Anyway, the names were confusing, mostly because I actually didn't know anyone's name during the episode, I had to read the back of the DVD case to try to figure out who was who, the only name I was hearing clearly was "the earl" and as soon as you see him you know who it is. Maybe I just need to get my ears checked.
Anyway, what made me decide that I was going to give this another go despite the fact I wasn't clear on character names, and my beginning confusion, was the intrigue I felt from Ragnar's (yes I got his name from the back of the DVD case) excitement about sailing west, and his sneakiness in getting this done against the wishes of the earl. Then the whole scene when his brother and wife were alone together, yeah seems as though something went on, is going on, or will be going on between those two.
I kept getting the feeling even before that moment between them, that maybe he shouldn't trust his brother so much. The word jealousy kept popping in my mind, and you know where jealously can lead...to betrayal.
Lastly, I am interested to see if they will explain in more detail the visions or signs that Ragnar or seeing. (hide spoiler)]
I am going to give this another go even though I am not quite sure this is going to be for me in the long haul. Taking it one episode at a time.

Not sure. I just started because this is borrowed from the library, so I can only keep it at most 2 weeks unless someone reserves it then I will only be able to have it a week.

I am shooting for every other day with the hopes I will be able to renew at the library for the extra week.

This all depends on if I want to finish the season. Like I said in my post I am taking it one episode at a time.

Maddie I think we said above to watch episode one by next Wednesday :)

I'm confused. What are their accents? I don't like them much. And can't understand them half the time. Either of their accents.

I like his wife! Tough, yet isn't too rebellious, and demands her kids listen to her. I like that. Also like how she isn't unfaithful to her husband with his brother. Not yet, at least. I feel like he used to be with his brother but now isn't. (hide spoiler)]
