One of my favourite books, so I'm looking forward to this.
10%-started a bit early (couldn't resist any longer). Do love a good update, and this is pretty well done so far. Lily and Austin are, perhaps, a little too self-aware, but it doesn't stop it being enjoyable.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 8 (16% read):
Personally, I've just been scouring for the similarities wih the original and there are 'some small similarities'! It has its own unqiueness to it too however.
The conversations between Lily and Austin are like a modernized version of Darcy and Elizabeth's conversation..It's enjoyable :)

50%-while the updating is good fun, the clash with the more Austen-like phrasing is awkward at times.

83%-yes, we know what's coming but it's like a fresh look at an old friend.
Finished. Review on home page (will update with link later). Great fun. We know what's coming. Some elements were a little less successful but, on the whole, an entertaining read.

A modern reimagining of Jane Austen's 'Pride and Prejudice'.
When Lily Brewer’s mum dies, she’s shipped to the other side of the world to her step-sisters’ pompous English boarding school, Netherfield.
There, she meets Austin Cooper. Arrogant as hell but with abs to die for, Austin soon becomes the bane of her existence.
His twin brother, Jax, is the complete opposite. Kind and sweet, Jax soon strikes up a thing with Lily’s roommate, Anne.
Austin, though seems keen to keep them apart.
Will pride and prejudice ruin them all?
Or, will love win the day?
