1000 Books Before You Die discussion

1984 by George Orwell

A very clever book, with interesting hints of the time when it was written & also foresight for the future.

I found this both dated and fresh, heavy handed, but also so very creepy if you look at our contemporary lives with our internet/social media/data collection/endless advertising. Sometimes I feel like a good source.

This book is scarily believable.
