The dance is now open! To help avoid confusion, put the name of the character you are roleplaying with in parenthesis so several can go on at the dance at once. Example:

Sarah got to the dance and looked around for Joe.
((Holly))
"But that doesn't make sense!" Bob protested at her.

((Everyone))
Ingrid peeked out behind the changeroom door. She was feeling very queasy. Was the dress too big? Did it look ok? Would Tom even like it?

((Everyone))
Theia walked throught the door and headed straight to the drinks station. This was a nice place to meet everyone and that's why Theia would always go here first. To get to know everyone.

((Ingrid))

Tom walked out and looked around. Ingrid! He started to run over and then slowed down to look more formal. He trotted over with a big smile, waiting for her to come out fully.

((Theia))

Johanna arrived at the dance with a big smile. She glanced around the room and saw Theia. "Hi!" she called, walking over to her. "It's great to see you again."

(( anyone ))

Eva had just gotten there, and already had taken a seat with her crutches next to her chair, and her foot balanced on the seat next to her. She'd strained it only a day before the dance, and it was just because she took one step too far when she was practicing her pitching. Pathetic, she thought to herself with a grimace as she allowed her gaze to trail to the sickly looking skin along her leg. It'd taken her thirty minutes to simply put on her dress, and much much long to make her way down to the dance area.

(( anyone ))

Yoongi had somehow managed to pull himself into a suit and made his way down to the dance, and was already regretting that decision. He was once again attracted at the promise of good food, but he remembered too late that going would require social interaction. He was wasting his time there, especially when he could be sleeping or facetiming J-Hope. He had taken a spot in one of corners of the room and kept close to the snack table.

((Theia/Eva))

After greeting Theia, Johanna saw Eva and waved excitedly. As soon as she talked to Theia, she would head over to Eva with her.

(( Theia/Johanna ))

Relief flooded through Eva at the sight of Johanna waving to her. She'd made the last dance a lot better for her, and maybe, just maybe, it wouldn't be as bad as she imagined. Talking made everything more tolerable.

((I'm gonna wait for 9124crystal to take a turn :))

Darby walked into the room, looking around. It had been so long since she had wandered around the school, hanging out with people! She had been busy hanging out in her dorm room, chilling out like she would have been if she were at her house.

(( Anybody ))

Maxon walked in, making sure his brown hair was in place. He smiled, giving himself a thumbs up as he looked around at the beautifully decorated place. He grinned, tapping his foot to the beat of the music.

((Darby))

Andrew was at the snack table eating a cupcake when he saw Darby come in. He smiled and tried to stuff the rest of his cupcake in his mouth.

(( Andrew ))

Darby smiled, her eyes lighting up, when she saw Andrew. She even laughed a little bit when she saw that he was stuffing a cupcake in his mouth. "No worries! There is no need to rush! You deserve to cherish that cupcake."

((Darby))

Andrew managed to swallow before laughing so that he wouldn't spray crumbs everywhere. He walked over to her with a big smile. He held out his arms for a hug.

(( Andrew ))

Darby looked over at Andrew and laughed, hugging Andrew back. "It is so good to see you!" She exclaimed happily. "I haven't seen you in what seems like forever. However, did you enjoy the cupcake?"

Andrew laughed. "It does seem like forever," he agreed. "And the cupcake was delicious!" He grinned. "Wanna try one?"

(( Andrew ))

Looking over at Andrew, she laughed again. Darby smiled as she reached over to grab a cupcake. Taking a bite, she sighed happily. "Oh my, this is actually really good! Every single time I try to bake it ends out, well, kind of horrible."

((Anyone))

Theodosia is just standing by the food table helping herself to cupcake after cupcake. She looks towards the door and tries to sneak away from the table.

((Anyone))
Natasha enters the room, sadly not with a rush of cold air and a fog machine but a girl can dream. She smiles and flicks her teal hair over her shoulder.

((Darby))

Andrew chuckled. "We should try baking something together sometime. Maybe the cooks'll let us do something in there sometime." He grabbed another cupcake.

(( Natasha ))

Tanner took a deep breath as he placed his hand on the door. One wrong move and everything could come out of place and he would be publicly humiliated. However, that wasn't going to happen! Tanner put on his best smile and walked inside, only to have his heart flutter by Natasha.

(( Andrew ))

"Oh yeah! That would be tons of fun. We will definitely have to do that." Darby replied, smiling as she took another bite of her cupcake. "Man, these are so great that I can't stop obsessing about how great these are."

Andrew grinned and took a bite of his. "No sham im haffing two!" he told her with his mouth full. "Sorry for my manners," he added sheepishly after swallowing. "Forgot where I was. It's easy to feel at home with you." He flushed slightly in embarrassment.

((Tanner))

Natasha smiled and walked over to Tanner. She took his hand. "Your finally here." she exclaimed.

(( Andrew ))

Darby laughed, raising her eyebrow at Andrew. "Well, that is absolutely fine if you have two! Just don't get a stomachache. Those are the worst." Darby said. She sounded a lot like her mom. "Oh. It's totally fine. I would probably be the same way."

(( Natasha ))

Tanner smiled as he intertwined his fingers with Natasha's. "You look stunning. I love the dress, and the hair." Tanner spoke, smiling. "It is all so perfectly you."

Andrew chuckled at her mothering tone. "I think I'll be alright. Hopefully," he added. "I wonder who made them. The cooks or were they catered?" He took another bite.

((Tanner))

"Thank you so much! It took a while to figure out what to wear." Natasha said with a giggle,"You look nice too."

((Tom))

"Hey!" Ingrid called out, finally spoting Tom.

((Johanna and Eva))

"Hey guys!! Great to see you again!" She said, setting her drink down.

((Ingrid))

"Hey!" Tom echoed, smiling as he reached her. He adjusted his tie and offered her his hand. "Shall we dance?"

((Theia/Eva))

"Great to see you too," Johanna replied with a smile. "Eva looks strained so maybe her leg is bothering her. Want to head over to her?" She filled two cups of lemonade.

((Tom))
"I'd be delighted." Ingrid said, smiling as she took his hand.

((Johanna/Eva))

"Sure." Theia said, grabbing her cup.

(( Andrew ))

Darby shrugged. "I have no idea. Either way, these are excellent and I think that they should win an award for the Best Cupcake That I Have Ever Eaten." Darby stated, laughing.

(( Natasha ))

Tanner lightly laughed. "Oh this? This is normal. This is what a lot of the boys wear to dances. You girls are lucky because you all can mix and match it up. You all pretty much have the freedom to do what you want." He replied, chuckling.

((Xander))
Light walked into the room nervously. She knew that she was late to the dance (she could blame that on her older brother Frisk, who drove like an old lady), and Xander had probably been waiting a while for her already. "Where is he..." She whispered under her breath, then straightened her dress.

(( Light ))

Xander walked into the room quietly. Of course he was late. He was practicing on not being a nervous wreck in his dorm room and bouncing a tennis ball back and forth on the walls of his room. When he saw Light, he quietly walked over. "Hey! How are you? Isn't this going to be the best night ever?" He asked, grinning.

((Xander))
"Ah! Hi Xander! I'm great! Well, it's better since you're here now," Light stated with a smile, not realizing how pick-up-liney that sounded. "Yeah! Do you want to go dance?" Light asked, beckoning to the dance floor.

((Everyone))

Ashley peeked around the edge of the stage with a smile. The dance was going strong and as announcer, it was about time she got to announcing! She walked onstage proudly and cleared her throat in the mic. "Hello everyone and welcome to the 2017 Spring Fling! In just a moment, you'll find out our King and Queen, but first, is everyone having a great time?" She shouted out the last part across the crowd, waiting for an answer.

((Ingrid/Ashley))

Tom pulled her out to the dance floor but turned to the stage when Ashley started talking. He made a face at Ingrid that they were interrupted, but cheered for the question anyway.

((Theia/Eva))

Johanna walked over to Eva and sat down next to her, offering one of the glasses she had. She glanced at the stage.

((Darby))

Andrew grinned. "Yeah they're great." He heard Ashley talking and looked over quickly. "A few people told me they were voting for us to win but it's just a few. It would be awesome if we won though," he admitted in a quieter tone so that they wouldn't interrupt Ashley before adding a cheer to her question.

((Tanner))

"True but you guys also don't have to cake your face in makeup and actually put time into your hair. " Natasha said with a laugh, "This took hours."

(( anyone; ruby? ))

Amira, with her cane in hand, walked into the large room. She usually tended to avoid areas with this many people, but she'd made an exception, to be social, or, to state it for what it truly was, stand in the presence of her crush, Ruby. She knew she'd most likely start and end the dance sitting in one of the plastic foldout chairs pushed off to the side. So, she started to make her way over to where she assumed that area would be, her cane constantly whacking several of the other people at the dance in the shins.

(( Theia / Johanna ))

Eva smiled at Johanna and gratefully took the glass. "Thanks!" she told her gratefully as she downed half of it with one gulp.

((Amira))

Ruby walked into the ballroom, she didn't really want to be there but if it meant seeing Amira then it was worth it. She saw Amira walking towards the side where the chairs were. Her heart fluttered and she ran. "Hey Amira do you want help?" she asked.

(( Ruby ))

Nearly jumping at the voice she heard next, Amira had to use every ounce of self control she owned to keep from screaming in excitement. "R-ruby? Err..." She paused as she contemplated what she would say next. Should anyone else had said that comment, she would've blown up in anger, but it was Ruby, and, if she were being quite honest, she truly did want help. "Yes, thank you," she finally finished with a smile in the general direction of where she assumed Ruby to be.

(( Amira))

Ruby blushed and interlocked her arm with Amira's. Heat flooded to her cheeks and her heart pounded. She slowly led her over to the chairs. "Do you want a cupcake or something?" she asked.

((Everyone))

Ashley cheered with everyone else. "Glad everyone is enjoying themselves!" she called with a grin. "Now I'm sure you're wondering who won king and queen.. but I'm going to make you wait!" She winked at the crowd.
"We just so happen to have a karaoke machine up here for anyone with the guts to perform! You can also do a duet with someone or more! We have trophies at the end for favorite performance of the night. Have fun guys!" She stepped offstage.

(( Ruby ))

"I already ate, but th-thank you," she stammered. She could feel her cheeks heat in a manner of which only indicated that she was blushing, the reason of it mainly being the contact between her and Ruby's arms. "W-wait, what's going on up there? Ruby, we should do a duet!" she exclaimed as soon as she interpreted what the announcer said.

(( Andrew ))

Darby smiled as she looked up at Ashley, who was currently talking. "Oh. Well, that's pretty big news." She whispered to Andrew, looking back up at Ashley. "I mean, that's actually really cool." Then, her eyes lit up when she mentioned a karaoke machine.

(( Natasha ))

Tanner laughed. "Oh yeah. I'm horrible at doing makeup." Whenever Tanner said that, he started to blush a little bit. "Not that i have done makeup before. I mean, I did it on myself just to see what would happen, but that's it."

(( Light ))

Xander smiled. "Also, I love your dress! You look amazing." He stated, giving Light a warm smile. Nodding, he looked out at the dance floor. "Yeah! Let's show this whole entire dance that we can dance until we die. Not actually, but just dance until we can't feel our feet anymore."

((Darby/Ashley/Everyone))

Andrew grinned, "You thinking what I'm thinking?" He grabbed her hand and started to pull her toward the stage.

((Tom))

Ingrid chuckled.

((Eva/Johanna))

"So...how's it going?" Theia said coming up beside the both of them.

(( Andrew ))

Darby watched as he grabbed her hand. "Um, that you want another cupcake after this?" She joked, laughing with a smile on her face. "Actually, I was joking. I know what you're thinking."

((Darby/Everyone))

Andrew grinned and stopped at the steps to the stage, "Wanna sing?"

I'm sorry to say this dance will be ending tomorrow so that the senior and junior prom can begin! Finish up any roleplays and RSVP for the prom. (Juniors and Seniors only)

((Xander))
"Yeah! Let's go show them my awful dancing skills that still might not be as bad as some other people out there on the dance floor!" Light said in a semi-serious voice. Her dancing skills weren't the best, but she wasn't about to get embarrassed about them today! She smiled and started to walk to Xander over to the dance floor.

We have to close up the dance now! I'm sorry this dance was shorter than usual because of my break for Lent. The Senior and Junior Prom, however, is open! The King and Queen of the dance was Darby + Andrew.
