For reading books
(100 pages or 25,000 words is the minimum)
Books between 100 and 160 pages = 5 points
Books between 161 pages and 350 pages = 20 points
Books between 351 and 500 pages = 40 points
Books between 501 and 650 pages = 60 points
Books between 651 and 800 pages = 80 points
Books between 801 and 900 pages = 100 points
Books over 901 pages = 130 points

For current BOM (Book of the Month) discussions
Writing a day's worth of discussion questions = 40 points
Participating in a current BOM (participating in discussion) = 20 points

It is fun! And it allows for reading whatever we are in the mood for (as long as it matches the rules) so it's great!

We may have a dark vs light competition later on... but I'm not sure what yet. But we're going to rock it!

No worries here ... I'm not overly competitive. I just want everyone to have a good time reading books this spring. So get ready to have fun!

I'm so excited to see so many new-to-me faces! I know Steven, *waves to Stephen* but I don't think we've ever been on the same team before. Gea, haven't we met before, too? We'll know each other well by the end of the challenge and enjoy our time as well!

Here's my shelf: tower-teams-v

I love good books and will read 'most' of the sub-genres. Lately I've been reading Fairy Tale retellings and Historical Romance, but The Hubster and I listen to audio together which usually consists of Urban Fantasy, Science Fiction, and especially Space Opera (when we can find a good one). Right now we're working on the Elemental Assassins series by Jennifer Estep and LOVE it!

Becky, I just finished the ARC last week of the newest Elemental Assassin, and loved it. Fun series!!!

I love 'The Elemental Assassins' series. I'm only up to book 6 though. I have wanted to get a move on that series for a while, but it's hard to read all the books at the same time.

I'm currently finishing up some books 'The Well of Ascension' by Brandon Sanderson as well as 'The Fifth Season' by N.K. Jemisin, have some other books to read before then as well, but I will be ready by the time of the RAT start.

I need to get back to elemental assassin eventually... to book 4 I think.

I've been in a really bad case of reading stump this year, but, I'm counting with tower teams to break it for good.

My main goal right now will be finishing my in process books before May 4th, to avoid having unfinished business for a couple of months. I also need to banshee reading the Jane Yellowrock series because I got an ARC for last book and archiving date is June 2nd.
