What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

Hey there... I was hoping someone would be able to help me work out the title and author of a book I read many many years ago that I would like to find again. All I can remember is it was a story of a man who's wife died, similar to Pet Sematary, and if my memory is correct he brings her back to life through witchcraft or magic. The trouble is she returns without a soul, and gradually becomes more and more evil. I also remember she had an insatiable sexual appetite but her body was still rotting and she would cover up the smell with strong perfumes.

Not much to go on I'm afraid but this is all my addled old brain remembers. I think I read the book around the late 80's or early 90's, possibly. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you for the links, I have successfully found it. The book is called "Carrion" by Gary Brandner, the author of The Howling series. Off to ebay I go!
