Diana laughed out loud at her book character. She was funny, smart and brave, things Diana wished she could be. She looked up at the boxes surrounding her, then looked back at her book. She and her mom had just moved into a new town, Cloak Springs, which was based around some big company. Diana sighed softly, looking up from her book again to the boxes in her new room. "I wish we didn't have to move so often."
((I would just like to point out: If Diana is at home and she JUST moved there (which would mean she had no friends there or anything like that), how are other characters supposed to be incorporated, unless they're just super stalker-like or have secretly lived under the floorboards since the house was emptied?))
((Characters new to places have to be IN PUBLIC for an RP to continue, unless you wish for me to employ a homeless child that lives under your floorboards...))
Elizabeth ((Lizzazie)) stood outside the door to what she believed to be 4 Privet Drive. She rang the doorbell. Ding-dong.
Diana jumped up. Her mom was already out looking for a new job, so she was home by herself. She ran downstairs and opened the door.
"Why, hel-- you aren't Mrs. Dursley," Lizzazie frowned and added under her breath something about slight miscalculations and the probability of finding the square root of potassium.
"Um...I think you might be at the wrong address." Diana said. Then, thinking on what the strange girl had said about Mrs. Dursley, added, "Is this a prank?"
"Prank? Whatever do you mean?" Lizzazie was just as confused as the girl standing in front of her was.
"Well you sort of just mentioned Mrs. Dursley, and you know i figured you were pulling a prank, because she doesn't technically exist. I mean, there could be a Mrs. Dursley out there, but..." Diana trailed off. She was rambling, like she always did when she got nervous.
"Potassium," Lizzazie repeated. "The element 'k' on the periodic table. Don't mundanes know anything about their own creations?" she said the last bit more to herself than anyone else.
"oh...Right. Well I'm just going to go back inside now..."
Diana closed the door and went to find a phone.
Diana closed the door and went to find a phone.
After looking for the phone and failing miserably, Diana decided to go and try and finish unpacking. After all, she was sure the odd rainbow hair girl had left by now. /I mean she probably was just puling a prank and is off laughing with her friends./
"Adeline, do you remember where we were supposed to go whenever we arrived on land?" Hazel asked, staring wide-eyed at the unfamiliar world about her.
"Um... I wasn't listening." Adeline replied. She was kicking sand around, making a smiley face.
((They are on a beach right?))
((They are on a beach right?))
((Sure.))
"Well, then. This could be problematic..." Hazel thought back for a moment, trying to remember her parent's instructions. "I think mom mentioned a friend of hers and their daughter. They had just moved here. But I don't remember the name or the address."

"I know. Hey do you think mom's friend would have some cake?" Adeline said looking up from her finished Afro smiley face.
"I don't even know who mom's friend is!" Hazel was in a bit of mood. She hated being so forgetful. "Does the name Charlotte sound at all familiar?" Hazel asked suddenly, quite excited for the fragment of the memory she had.
"Um... Charlotte Branwell?" Adeline offered. "I think my smiley face man needs a girlfriend." She started making another smiley face right next to Afro man.
Hazel rolled her eyes. "No, Adeline. Charlotte... Charlotte...Charlotte Holly?" she looked over at Adeline's smiley faced Afro man and moaned.
"What? Is his eye crooked?" Adeline got on her knees and started to fix Afro man's eye, although she only made it worse.
Hazel dragged Adeline to a standing position and held her face at eye level. "Adeline, our living quarters depend on whether or not we can remember these people's names. I would suggest that you stop screwing around and FOCUS. Do you understand?"
"Fine. Um... Charlotte Holly and her daughter Diana. That's all I remember." Then Adeline gasped. "Afro Man!" She got down on her knees again, trying to fix his eye.
"Adeline, we have to go now. Charlotte Holly, remember?" Hazel said. "Unless you want to live on the beach..."
"I was joking about you having a choice. We're leaving now." Hazel grabbed Adeline's arm and tugged her in the general direction of civilization.
~in the town~
"How are we supposed to find this Charlotte person?" Hazel asked. "I really wished we remembered the address."
"How are we supposed to find this Charlotte person?" Hazel asked. "I really wished we remembered the address."
"They just moved, Adeline. Who would know where they lived?" Hazel sighed and ran a hair through her pixie-cut hair.
"Um...I don't know. Mom would." Adeline said. "I still don't understand why we had to come up here."
"Me neither," Hazel looked up and saw a girl with rainbow-colored hair about her age. "Do you know anyone named Charlotte Holly?" Hazel asked hopefully. The rainbow-haired girl giggled. "Of course! She lives in the small greenish house on the end of the road."
"See? I told you we should ask someone." Adeline said proudly, and promptly began picking nail polish off her fingers.
The rainbow-haired girl skipped away and began humming a strange tune.
"Let's go," Hazel said as she began walking again.
"Let's go," Hazel said as she began walking again.
"Are you sure? What if we go and look for cake? Mom said she would make some, but she didn't." Adeline begged. "Please?"

if you want to make a character go to the other topic in the roleplay folder.
just so you know ((means we are actually talking.)) also when i said four characters only that doesn't count side characters, like family, teachers, or just Extras. just introduce them when they show up.
First one to post gets to set the time and place.))
