Mio
"If you think that was cool, watch this." Adrian flicked his hand and a shadow in Mio's room unlocked the balcony doors. The shadow pulled the doors open before fading.
Mio smiled, "why thank you, though," she smirked looking up at Adrian, "not as cool as the leap."
Adrian chuckled and walked into her room as he carried her. "Your so beautiful." He smirked, the dark room making his eyes glow gold.
Mio turned back slightly, so that the morning light somewhat illuminated her and put him in the shadows, "am I?" She asked lightly.
"Yes, of course." Adrian grinned, she seemed so pure compared to him. "Your gorgeous." He brushed some hair from her face.
Mio looked up to him, believing his word. She'd never thought about it before, but, hearing it, she found it was nice, she bit her lip, "you are too," she whispered.
Adrian smiled and cupped her chin. "Not nearly as beautiful as you." He leaned down and kissed her again, the inside of the room seeming to get darker.
Mio was caught by surprise by the intensity of his kiss. She didn't notice the room getting darker.
The darkness was coming from Adrian, he tended to make things darker when he was more comfortable. He wrapped his arms around her waist and swayed slowly.
Adrian smirked in the kiss and made the shadows shut the balcony doors. He lifted her slightly, running his hand through her hair.
Adrian blushed a light shade of pink and parted his lips for her. He waved his hand and the curtains closed, he returned his hand to her waist.
Mio daringly slipped her tongue into his mouth, though her cheeks were blushing like hell's fire. Hot. She was only vaguely aware that the room was much darker than before.
Adrian could feel the heat coming off her face, it made him wonder if she was okay. He was, however, too into the kiss to stop to check.
Adrian continued kissing her until he needed to breath, he broke the kiss but stayed withing centimeters of her.
Mio breathed, she was so....completely breathless. oh my..."Oh...when did the curtains shut...?" She asked dreamily.
"I shut them." Adrian smiled at her, the light from his eyes was making his smile show up in the dark. "I'm much more comfortable in the dark."
Adrian nodded and picked her up, he carried her to her bed and laid her down. He knew Ivan had left their room by now, the boy had been listening to them.
Mio pulled him down onto the bed and childishly hugged him. She didn't know why, she just didn't want him to leave. "Stay," she murmurred.
Adrian flushed lightly and nodded, he took his heavy coat off. The things he went through for fashion.
Adrian got comfortable and wrapped his arms around her. He held her close as he drifted off, the shadows pulling the blankets over them.
Adrian held onto her, he didn't dream this time but it was better than the nightmares of the war.
Mio dreamed of her mother for the first time in a long time. She clutched onto Adrian unconsciously as she found her mother's bloody body in her dream.
Adrian instinctively tightened his grip on her, it was a reaction to her clutching onto him. He sighed heavily, hearing gun fire in the distance.
Kenichi was pulling Mio away from the sight, but Mio was already speechless, unable to express her feelings, couldn't cry, couldn't scream, just frozen in horror.
Adrian was about eighteen when he enlisted, he had no friends or family, he had nothing to live for. He enlisted because he had nothing to live for.
Kenichi told her not to look, and she hadn't wanted too, but there was already blood on Mio, and Mio hadn't known how it had gotten there.
Adrian had been happy in his moment of death, but he also felt that his life had been shame. He woke up months later a demon, though to him it was as if he had blinked. Just like that the pain was gone, he was given a new life, but the memories remained.
Mio remembered the warmth of the blood, the terror. She clenched her fists, accidentally fisting Adrian's clothes.
Adrian held on tighter and muttered something under his breath. He wasn't even sure what it was.
Mio stirred slightly when he muttered something, but she didn't hear it. Instead, her hand touched his skin, unwittingly drawing her into his dreams instead.
Adrian's dreams were still lingering on the battlefield. He was a human who gave up on life and fought recklessly, he was a man who wanted nothing more than death.
Mio held her breath as she watched Adrian on the battlefield. He seemed somewhat glorious, fighting there on the battlefield.
Adrian had been a good soldier, he was used to fighting, so used to it that he was told he was built for combat. In his last moments, Adrian was on his knees, armor cracked and his sword lost as he stared up at the warrior with the ax. If Adrian's friends saw his last moments, they would have cried because Adrian was staring at the man who was going to kill him as if he were an angel. As the ax came down, the human Adrian smiled, thinking about what a pointless life it had been.
((I'm sorry if this hurts in anyway))

((Omg, so sad T.T for Adrian, but it's fine?))
Mio gasped, and collapsed to her knees when she saw the expression on Adrian's face. Without realising it, there were tears on her cheeks, tears that didn't come when she'd found her mother dead, nor for other people. But yet they flowed freely as he smiled up to his killer. "Oh Adrian..." she whispered.

((I tend to make some people cry on accident with this stuff so I'm just apologizing in case))
The next thing that happened was that the dark broke into a less dark darkness. Someone was talking and as Adrian sat up, the boy stopped him. "You just woke up! Jeez, take it slow kid." Adrian asked if he was dead and the man told him the truth, which made Adrian shoot up, his eyes were glowing a bright gold.
"I'm a demon... you must be joking."

((Oh lols, it's fine with me, more dramatic, but it very sad though! ))
Mio chuckled slightly, even though she was still choking on her tears. It seemed such a humorous scenario, yet, it was reality. This had happened to Adrian.

"Yeah, a shadow demon. Going out in the sun will kill ya." The man joked.
"What?!" Adrian quickly realized the man was kidding and shoved him over. He wanted to introduce him to the others. From then on, for roughly about the next 18,000 years, Adrian was up at night training and living in the dark woods with the other shadow demons.

Adrian sighed in his sleep, he hadn't noticed anything. He was still asleep as if nothing happened.
Mio blinked, her head felt heavy and she still felt tired, turning to look at Adrian, she wondered if in the next 18,000 years, he had found a reason to live...she touched his cheek lightly, and kissed it before snuggling back up to him again, mindful to keep her hands away from his skin. He looked somewhat very adorable asleep.
Adrian had, this life was must better than the one he had as a human. In this life he had family, friends, love... Everything he didn't have before.
Mio lay next to him, half-drifting, she didn't deny the feelings in her about him, and was glad that he understood her need to avenge her mother.
Adrian didn't like telling people not to do things that they were set on doing. So when Mio told him about wanting to avenge her mother, he understood that she was set on it and it was something she needed to do, so he would help her in anyway he could.
