Is this book more for teens or children? The topic and cover makes it seem like it was written like either Percy Jackson or Harry Potter, but it is in the YA category.

Definitely YA. There's a fairly complex plot and some themes that would go over the heads of children.
It is young adult and good for actual adult also. I have enjoyed it along with teen children
It is a YA book. I don't want to give spoilers, but it is not like any other happy ending book. I literally wanted to write the author: WHY?
