The best Batman movie period.
This is the one that I judge all other Batman movies by.

as much as I liked it Travis, that's a pretty big declaration.
I could cite a number of different ones to contend with it.

I stand by my statement and will take on all comers.
MoP should be shown to anyone who wants to do a live action Batman movie so they know how it should be done.

Plus, I also recommend the comic based on the animated series, as it did an issue that was a semi-sequel to Phantasm and it was excellent as well.

The book by Geary Gravel is really good...

I haven't seen this one yet, but will definitely check it out soon based on this recommendation.

I might have to agree with this. Mask of the Phantasm is amazing.

Wish I had gone to the theater to see it...but it came out just before I got into Batman comics (in college).
