Thoughts?

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) Thought it was a great movie, although not as good as The Dark Knight. Of course the Dark Knight was so good I don't think much could compare. Loved Bane's voice too and how they tied the connections together.

Not sure yet still how I feel about that ending though, it feels so shortened (his life as the bat) I know it's supposed to cover a long span, maybe, but I think a different ending may have been better.

His "life as the bat" was shortened by his eight year retirement. That's not Bruce Wayne. Bruce didn't spend years training so that he could take down a few criminals then pine for years over the loss of a girl he never really had...
Amazing - the difference between TDK and TDKR.

On a lighter note... am I the only one that thought Bane sounded like he was doing a bad Santa Claus impression? "When Gotham is in ashes, you have my permission to die HO HO HO".

Batman doesn't quit. His vow at his parents grave was not 'I'll fight evil, until a hot chick in a bodysuit comes along, then I'm outta here!'

Yeah, I didn't get the Bane voice. In the comics he was from South America, in the movie he sounds like he teaches at Hogwarts or something.

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) I disliked the ending too. It just seemed to me over the time period of the three movies that not THAT much time has passed. The third makes it seem like he's about to kick the bucket and has been doing it for most of his life or something. It didn't feel Batman-ish.
