- "Oh how humanity has fallen," Lucifer spoke quality as he faced the hunters. They had managed to breach his defenses that guraded his hideout.

He was preparing the apocalypse. The day the horsemen would ride, the day his children would inherit the earth. the day he would a kingdom of God's children's carcasses and drink a goblet of angel blood for every meal. It was paradise, it was was his heaven.

A hunter fearingly raised his gun trying to get a shot that would pierce a fallen angels body. Lucifer smiled gently. "Casey, you think killing me will bring your wife back? That killing me will stop you from waking up every night screaming?" Lucifer extended his hand towards him.

"Just give me the gun."

Casey fired, yelling for Satan to die. The bullets hit and he was stunned a bit before the bullets melted out him. The hope of the hunter's eyes died as he backed up.

"Oh, Casey" The Devil smiled before snapping his fingers, sending him to relive his own personal hell. Where he would forever try to save his wife and children and fail. Where he would cry over their bloody corpses for all eternity. Physical torture was only phase one for the dark angel. Mental torture would always be worse.

Lucifer tsked as Casey would have made a wonderful servant. He went back to his throne and awaited the end. It was happening and it would be beautiful.

"Eat."

Villoris' instruction was repeated for the third time while his daughter stared him down dubiously. The Naer's narrowed eyes portrayed the most emotion he had seen in trials from the girl since learning of her mother's death. Yndira was not in the slightest pleased to be within the same confines as the man that had robbed of a chance to watch her mother expire. It was not that he had killed her that infuriated the girl, but that he left her out of it. Her tantrum was something of a brooding silence that occurred only in his presence. She was sure it appeared as no more than juvenile misbehavior, but the matter was far more serious than that. And so it was that they found themselves at their current point.

Her father glowered at her from his spot across the table, hair askew and eyes somewhat wild. There was something to this, she knew. His displeasure with her existence was a fact of life she had little care for, but it had shaped much of her upbringing. Because of this, she found little recollection of ever once being graced with a meal with him. And yet, there he was across from her, giving direction to eat the nearly charred meat he had cooked. She dropped her gaze down to examine what he insisted she eat. It looked to be an attempt at steak, something someone more skilled could have made without mistake. The meager side of potatoes was dotted with an equally sorry smear of melting butter and a dash of pepper. Pathetic. What did he hope to gain with this?

Yndira's gaze returned to her father's face for a moment before she lifted her utensils to begin eating. He watched her closely, an unnerving act for someone who had previously waxed poetic about how much the sight of her made him want to gouge his own eyes out. She could only stare back for a moment before he urged her on. The steak, too tough to cut in one go, soon proved to be more distracting than Villoris' watchful gaze. A grimace took residence on her features as she struggled to cut through for a moment. Her first thought was to take the butter from her mashed potatoes and have it be of use to soften the meat. However, after a moment of toiling, she managed to cut it.

It was then that she shot half of her biological makeup a withering look. His staring was giving his intentions away. Part of her remained unsure of whether or not he intended for her to truly eat. He could have been goading her into some sort of confrontation. He could have decided that he would attempt civility between the two of them as father and daughter. However, every fiber of her being doubted the latter option. There was no chance of that in light of his treatment towards her. There was also no one who would have given enough of a damn to intercede on her behalf.

"Eat," he urged again, this time gesturing with his own knife for her to do so.

Yndira found that his meal was far more desirable. It had been clear that he had put consideration into it. The lentil soup steamed in its bread bowl container. He could not have made that; it must have been gifted. Roast beef slathered in gravy lay atop his own potatoes like a blanket, all of which floated in a lake of butter sprinkled with what smelled like rosemary. She would not admit the watering of her mouth at the sight of it. Nothing over the top, but elegant in its simplicity and sure to set the taste buds aflame with passion. Again she grimaced as she compared the quality of their respective meals.

Something was decidedly amiss.

"I just don't understand the fascination with humans." The word fell from his mouth if he loathed the very sound of it, and his face adopted a sneer which was almost a second nature nowadays. "Creatures bound to meaningless rituals, pursued relentlessly by the iron fist of death. They live for what, three, four decades at the most? They're utterly useless, what with their free will and eternal souls." His nose curled up in disgust, and he waved his hand around with a roll of his eyes. "We can't even make them do what we want; they get to choose. How disgustingly religious."

He was draped over his father's throne, his legs thrown over one arm of the chair, his back leaned up against the other. A ruby red apple bounced up and down as he tossed it around absently. As merely the "prince" of hell (if you could even sum up his position in such menial human words), he had no place on that seat. But Lucifer wasn't home at the moment, and he always enjoyed to break the house rules.

He wasn't talking to anyone in particular; a few demons were scattered about the room, but none of them had caught his interest. It was a habit of his to rant out loud from time to time, mostly because he liked to hear the sound of his own voice.

"If you hate humans so much, why do you spend so much time with them?

His head turned sharply towards the sound of the voice, maroon eyes narrowed. It seemed like one of the demons had spoken their mind but didn't entirely think it through. As their eyes made contact, the demon blanched and flinched under the gaze.

Pleased with the reaction he received, the Prince smirked maliciously, before taking a large bite of his apple. "I do what I do up on Earth for one reason and one reason only; to torture humans in every way possible, not because I enjoy their company. I enjoy their pain."

He shook his head; he could not be distracted. Distractions were not tolerated. In fact, they were destroyed. But only after the work was done. He must finish.

His blade but into flesh and muscle and bone as easily as if it were butter; slicing through it all with finality and a barely-audible squelch that seemed louder than it really was to his ears. He loved it. He freed the blade from the body, watching as the reddish blood dripped from it to the ground below. It splashed onto his cloak. He didn't care.

He stabbed twice more, relishing each give of flesh under his knife. Then, sure of the death of his target, he stood. Keeping his knife extended, he stared towards the light. And approached it, death on his mind. (hide spoiler)]

Pride watched as the children played. The sun shined down on them brightly as they giggled and laughed. Humans She sneered with disgust. Lucifer wanted to her Brothers and Sisters to help bring down these hairless apes, something she was glad to do.

From the beginning, she knew Lucifer hated these beings and she could see why. They were all idiots who were obsessed with pitiful emotions and constantly destroy themselves over nothing repeatedly. It was kind of funny when she thought about it. She constantly told him that'd they'd evunatlly being the Apocalypse on themselves, but her master was never really the patient one.

Straighten her beautiful school style dress, she continued her mission to find a Witch Coven who denied joining Lucifer's ever growing army, big mistake. The sin made her way into the secret building on the east side of the park. It took her a bit to find the shoureded building. With a yawn, she muttered an ancient spell and the shield shattered. “Really? A cloaking spell? And here I thought I was dealing with a competent coven.”

The witches stared in shock as they try to use spells against the demon. Without warning, the shadows on the wall come to life and the tendrils stab or behead the coven quickly before they could finish. The blood spattered all over the wall and some got on her cheek. The demon quickly whips out her handkerchief and whips the splatter off her cheek.

“You’re lucky it didn’t get on my dress.” She sneered at the mangled corpses.

Pride overlooked the building till she heard a crying from a distant. Flowing the sounds, she came across a small infant and couldn’t help but smirk. She found what she needed. But why wouldn’t she…

Everything was created based on lust. The angels, humans, demons—everything was created because someone longed for something or another, and as a result, poof, a new creation. Angels were God’s desire for children, and when they were not enough for him—when they proved to be too ‘perfect’, God lusted for something else…something new, fresh, flawed…and free to show their colors to him.

Demons, they were created because Lucifer’s lusting after a way to stab at his father after having fallen from grace because he’d lusted for his father’s full attention and was denied it. From a child wanting a toy, a grown up wanting love, or a witch wanting power, everyone was guilty of lust. Love itself is just a tame version of lust. Everything is based around lust. Even the brothers and sisters of the sin were just a variation of her. Pride tried for power to fluff up that head of hers. Wrath wanted violence and rage. Envy wanted everything he couldn’t have. Greed, gluttony, sloth—each was the same story. They were all pieces of her; sure they were boiled down and concentrated into focuses, but her none the less.

Lime juice squirted from the wedge shoved between her lips, teeth sinking into the fruit’s flesh, wanting more of its citrus goodness. Pulling the peel from her mouth by one end, ensuring that the rest slid between closed lips, Lust felt a wave of satisfaction hit her from the eyes staring at the ‘seductive’ action. She craved their attention like she craved everything else. Dropping the peel in her shot glass, she slid it across the bar top, eyes finding the bartender quick enough.

It only took flashing a mischievous smile to the barkeep once his eyes fell upon Lust to know that he was needed. “Another,” she instructed when he was close enough to hear. He returned her smile.

“Going all out tonight?” he asked as he poured the tequila. “What’s the occasion?” Because someone needed a reason to down shot after shot beyond the desire to drink?

“I need a reason?” She took the glass and tilted it back, the liquor burning somethin’ good as it went down her throat, and slammed it to the counter top before sliding it to him. “Thought living was about going after what we wanted, regardless of if there was a reason behind our desires.” That same mysterious smile started to pull to her lips, eyes giving him a slow and thorough look over before roaming back to meet his eyes. He was infected with her, infected by lust; she could see it in his eyes. She could always see it in their eyes; humans were easy to read. “Don’t you agree?”

She sat behind a tree, waiting for the Alpha to come. They had been out hunting for some fresh human flesh, and since she was female, it was the alpha's job to provide food for the both of them. She watched the children play across the field and felt pity for them. Then the sides of her mouth curled up into a cruel smile. She could almost feel the blood dripping down her throat.

Ever since Lucifer and his demons had been clearly taking charge of New Orleans, she had advised the Alpha to head out into the woods and protect themselves, staying away from the conflicts between humans and other species. She looked down at a small butterfly settling on the grass. It was clear that the butterfly was unaware that she was waiting for the perfect opportunity to squeeze the life out of it.

She had never been a cruel one, but spending time with the Alpha, and having to deal with Lucifer and all of the other seven deadly sins, she had become harder, and where there was once love, there was now love and hate. Once where there was warmth, there was warmth and cold. At first, she had denied that there were such things, but clearly, the deadly sins had had an influence on her as well. After all, she was still part human.

She looked up as two teenage boys approached her and she morphed into wolf form, jumping up onto the tree behind her. She could smell almost all of the seven deadly sins wafting off them and she was taking it in. She looked down at them as if expecting them to start the conversation that would most likely end with their deaths and her having a full stomach. Her stomach grumbled. She was hungry, but she knew better than to rush. If she lured them in, more might come.

"So, you single?" The blond one asked. She sighed softly. Humans were so simple-minded.

"She's a college girl, way out of your league, way into mine. So are you single?" The brunette asked. She felt the need to roll her eyes or do what the sins did when they cast spells and made their human problems go away. She also now understood why Lucifer was so impatient about getting rid of these little mortals, but she didn't understand why modern humans felt the need to "date" everyone and sleep in their beds.

The Alpha returned and she could almost read the lust coming off him. She could feel it. Something cold made the hairs on her neck spring up. The lust. It wasn't for her. It was for another wolf.
