The Man Without Qualities discussion

Most modern early 20th century ’s highly acclaimed novels (excepting some sci-fis) suffers from a tremendous impotence of philosophical sublimities,
wondrously supreme e'en thru the end.
This masterpiece of Musil, even greater ever than Proust’s, or than Joyce's, be the greatest exemplar thereof.
This novel full of idea 's not philosophy, in the Platonian kinesthesia, but perplexity - a sophistical jurisprudential defense,
at western lit. ’s pinnacle.

Of my postulate-
of Musil as like Tolstoy tho of no poetic puissance.
May be due to Musilian mind ’s sub- unconsciously inclined, towards the hard sciences.
Not that mathematics ('hardest' science) imbues not Tolstoy's literature - verses mixes meanings architecturally (tho prose forms), but Tolstoy beautifies by being highly - poetic.

But if beauty be in the eye of the beholder, aesthetically equally intellectually speaking,
then -
let these 'modern' novels be as like a Freudean-,
and some sci-fis’ sublimes like some Jungian psychology, amidst our literature.
I must confess - I am of the latter inclined..

Let majestics merge with the ‘post' Modernist, as 21st century novelist synthesises, and so advance every novel form(s) and genre(s).. our world literature.
