For the escapee block, there's a simple room full of pool tables, ping pong tables, arcade games, and game tables for board games, D&D, and a television. This is heaven... for only the most complacent of prisoners.

Rock | 408 comments The halls outside the recreation room were eerily silent. A strange aura seemed to fill the area that might make anyone unaccustomed to it tense up slightly, as if they felt something bad was about to happen to them. Almost as if on cur a loud crash could be heard coming from the rec room.

Inside the room near its center, a pool table had somehow managed to crack in half and loose all of its legs. Behind the table one could see the white hair of the girl responsible trying to hide behind the mess she made. She was shaking slightly, worried about the consequences she would have to face for breaking something.

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) | 1121 comments Airi skipped down the hall, her goal a cafeteria or staff room where she could steal something sweet. She hummed softly to herself, twirling a strand of her long white hair around her finger. Why is that door open? Shinku pointed out. Airi looked where Shinku mentioned and saw that the door to the recreation room stood open. Her normal, too-wide smile spread across her face and she hopped over to the door, peering inside the room. "Oooooh! Look, Shinku, the table's broken!" she giggled, her gaze instantly finding the imperfection. She made her way over to the table, walking on her toes as she always did. Her crimson eyes widened at the sight of the girl cowering behind said table. "She's like me," she whispered, her smile disappearing and then reappearing, larger and happier than before. "Hello!"

Rock | 408 comments "O-oh! Hi!" Torri said quickly as she shot up. She tried to casually rest a hand on the broken pool table, but it cracked under her hold and the whole thing fell over. "Oh no, oh no!" The young girl said in panic as she turned to Airi and asked, "You're not working for dad are you?" The girl seemed far too upset with her predicament to noticed their shared characteristic. It was honnestly taking all of Torri's might to not accidentally fall through the floor.

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) | 1121 comments Airi hopped easily over the table once it fell, showing no concern for the object. She, due to her lack of knowledge of personal space, ended up right in Torri's face, touching around her eyes and then playing with her hair. Her smile was terrifying, seeing as she had only just met the woman and was now touching her. "You're like me," she giggled excitedly. In her mind though, Shinku did not think it was so great. She may be dangerous, Ri. She destroyed that table. You shouldn't get too close, she warned. Her opinion came to mean a lot to Airi over the years, so she stopped touching Torri and took a step back. But it was still clear that she was super excited—she was even bouncing on her toes. Sorry, Shinku, Ićm just happy!

Rock | 408 comments Torri tensed up as the girl jumped on her and, through some miracle, didn't end up twisting and contorting the strange new girl's body the second the two connected to one another. She was taken aback by this thought until Airi spoke of them being similar. The same... "Are you my sister?" she asked suddenly and rather excitedly Her eye slighting up like stars at the idea of having a sister (Even if she was fully aware of the fact she was an only child.) The strange smile Airi made being pushed into the back of her mind as one of sisterly bonds took its place.

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) | 1121 comments Airi giggled despite the warnings from Shinku in her mind. The two looked awfully alike, despite the fact that she was thin and wasn't too curvy, unlike Torri. Agewise, they could definitely be sisters. The idea was appealing but Airi ended up saying something far darker than what Torri may have expected. "I don't have a sister! If I had an older sister, she would have protected me from the kids who teased me! She would have been there for me when Mommy and Daddy died! She would have helped me kill the bitch who stole my precious Usui from me, and she would have helped me make him mine! I guess Shinku is my sister! Besides, I don't even know your name!" Regardless of her terrifying words, her voice and face were cheerful, her eyes sparkling and smile bright. "I would like to make a friend, though! I've never ever met someone who looks like me! If you don't turn out to be a backstabbing bitch, then maybe Shinku will approve of you!"

Rock | 408 comments Well, Torri was a blossoming nineteen year old, while Airi might still just be budding at fifteen. Torri though, was taken a bit back by the string language the girl before het was using. A bit reluctantly she said, "I guess I would have broken my sister just like I did those kids at school anyways..." Shaking off both the ominous threat and the sudden use of rude language her eyes started to sparkle. "Don't worry, I can be friends with everyone! Even this other person!" She said confidently as she tried to look around the room for this unseen third party. Sadly, she lacked enough sense to forget to introduce herself still even if the other girl may have hinted she wanted her name. Torri was much more focused on making friends rather than introducing herself.

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) | 1121 comments Airi giggled again, but this time it was due to Torri looking around, searching for someone else in the room. "Shinku, she's so funny," she laughed, but Shinku did not seem amused. She's not. She's stupid. Don't even bother asking for her name again, Ri. Let's just go look for some sweets, the girl insisted. Airi sighed and nodded to the voice in her head. "You're right. She didn't even notice I asked for her name. Hmmm... She won't be much help getting to Usui. Well, I'm leaving now!" She was speaking to Shinku until her last sentence, where she waved at Torri and then turned to leave.

Rock | 408 comments "W-wait! Whose Shinku... and Usui?" She asked, worried she had messed up becoming friends with literally the first non-guard she had talked to in years. She wasn't ready to give up though. She followed along after the girl. "Where are you going?" Torri asked curiously, just glad to be away from the crime scene. She hoped she hadn't messed up with this girl, but at the same time, something felt off about her.

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) | 1121 comments For a terrifying second, Shinku showed herself. She whipped around and grabbed the collar of Torri's top, jerking her close and glaring at her with suddenly dark eyes. "Don't you dare say his name," she snarled, her voice a bit deeper than that of Ri. She blinked a few times and smiled, releasing Torri and turning away again. "That was Shinku," Airi said simply, giggling and then continuing to walk out into the hall. "We're going to get some sweets! Shinku really likes cake, but I don't think we'll be able to find any. Oh~! But maybe we can find some chocolate! So exciting!" She laughed softly, clapping her hands happily.

message 12: by Rock (new)

Rock | 408 comments Torri flinched as the other girl grabbed and screamed at her for simply stating a name. Her hands instinctively went up to defend herself (by grabbing the other girl so her powers would break her), but forced herself to grab her own collar instead. The collar breaking the second Airi turned away. "Oh! You're trying to look for the cafeteria? I bet they have sugar in the back! It's probably locked though.... but ai bet we could get in!" She said eagerly. "All we have to do is get past all of the traps dad talks about!" She said happily, a sudden conversation they had popped into her head. "Oh teah! I'm Torri by the way!" She said, sticking her hand out for the other girl to shake.

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) | 1121 comments She didn't react to me at all, Ri! She's painfully stupid, and it's going to put us in danger! Shinku yelled at Ri, her tone frustrated but also concerned. Airi signed and stopped walking, turning to Torri with that creepy, wide smile across her face. "Shinku doesn't like you! But thanks for telling us your name, and where the sweets are," she said, giggling playfully. "Feel free to follow me, but just so you know, I don't plan on socializing with you anymore! Shinku says that your stupidity will put us in danger!" Without a shred of remorse for her cruel words, she giggled softly again and then turned away, continuing down the hall.

Rock | 408 comments Torri crossed her arms and put on a pouty face. "I am not stupid! Your friend is just stupid!" She said rather pitifully as she followed along behind her. She wanted to leave and go cry, but she knew she'd get caught by her "father" if she went backwards, and the subject of sweets intrigued her too. After all, she had been in jail for most of her life, and the ideas of food were limited to what she was brought, which made sweets rather limited to nonexistent. She padded along behind the other girl not bothering to warn her about any traps she noticed. Her anger causing her to not control her power well. Which meant the floor would crack beneath her every few steps.

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) | 1121 comments It took all of Airi's willpower not to throw Torri into the wall after she badmouthed Shinku, but she managed to stay silent and nonviolent. She skipped over a few traps, thanks to Shinku noticing them, and managed to move a few out of the way with her telekinesis. How many damn halls are there?! I just want some damn chocolate! Shinku whined, making Airi giggle.

message 16: by Rock (new)

Rock | 408 comments It took all of Torri's will power not to "accidentally" touch Airi. In her little spout of grumpiness she almost missed the fact that Airi was making things float out of the way. "Woah! They're flying!" The girl said as she touched everything Airi moved. The two of them practically destroying an entire section of the prison with their combined efforts. They had to be getting close though. Well, at least to the mens cafeteria as the rec room as that building was close to them. The maze like hallways were confusing though, but Torri had snuck out enough times to find a cafeteria and probably knew a quick rout to find it, not that she'd tell the bully in front of her though.

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) | 1121 comments Airi was now ignoring Torri's presence entirely, that is, until her stomach grumbled. "Torriiiii? Are we close yet?" she whined, skipping over to the girl, pouting a bit. "Oh, and you liked the floating trick, right? That's my ability. I can make more things float for you, if you guide us toward the food." Her tone was an offer, but in her mind, Shinku was praising her on her manipulation attempt.

message 18: by Rock (new)

Rock | 408 comments Torri crossed her arms and looked away. "Oh, so now you want my help," she shot under her breath. She didn't really feel like helping the other girl but was getting pretty hungry herself. Although, the other thing Airi mentioned interested her more. "Oh! You have an ability too that can make things float? I wish I could do that... All mime does is break everything I touch," she said, pouting in envy as she walked past Airi. She was sure the girl was just going to ignore any statements she made unless it involved food, so she just moved on ahead to get to the cafeteria. It could be a long trip there if one didn't know where they were going, but she knew one of the many branching paths in this maze like prison could get them there quicker.

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) | 1121 comments (I'm going to finish the guard for Torri first before responding here. Sorry!)

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) | 1121 comments Just as Shinku began rambling to Airi about how Torri's powers could help them get out of the prison and find Usui, a guard began heading their way. He tapped a piece of each item Torri's ability had destroyed, his own making them meld together. The man, tall, lean and attractive, was Akio Nekozawa, Torri Tidal's personal guard. He made his way over to the girls sighing heavily upon seeing Airi skip away. "Torri-chan, did your door break again? You've wrecked this half of the block," he huffed. His fluffy tail flicked about behind him in alight annoyance. He knew that he couldn't really blame Torri for her ability, but it did often lead to many...unscheduled walks throughout block 13.

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) | 1121 comments (I'm so terrible. It took me forever to finish him and I left you hanging. I'm so sorry)

Rock | 408 comments Torri grunted as Airi skipped away, shooting daggers into the back of the girl's head as she left to make Torri fend for herself. "Yeah, I don't know why that keeps happening!" she said, trying to sound as innocent as possible. "Anyways. I'm hungry so I'm gonna go eat!" she said, turning to quickly move away from the man. Her twirling around leaving cracks on the ground.

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) | 1121 comments Akio raised a perfect eyebrow at the young woman before him, shaking his head as he mentally corrected, More like old child. He followed after her with a huff, running a hand through his bangs after seeing the cracked foot-prints in the floor. Stepping carefully, he made sure to step near or on the cracks, each one sealing up silently behind him. "Torri-chan, please. If you're hungry, you need an escort. I am your personal guard. It puts a bad mark on my record if you escape, sweetheart. Especially when you're a danger to yourself and others. I know that you don't mean to be, but what if you get hurt and I'm not there in time to help you?" he scolded gently, voicing his concerns. Once he was close enough, he grasped her upper arm in his slender-fingered hand. It hurt. It always did. The repetition of break-mend, fracture-fix, burn-cool, of the skin that made contact with Torri's. And then, as always, both of their powers cancelled out, the cracks in the ground piecing together and no new ones forming. It always came with a rush of relief, as the cycle of his flesh tearing and then repairing itself came to a stop.
