Series:
- Haven't read the whole HP series yet, but I know it's going to be my favourite
- Miss Peregrine's
Standalones:
- All the Bright Places
- Doctor Sleep (officially a duology, but you can read it without having read the first book "The Shining")
- The Boy in the Striped Pajamas
- Stolen: A Letter to My Captor

Shatter Me and We Are Okay have to be my favourites, not including Harry Potter because Harry Potter is amazing.
Favorite is somewhat ambigious. ;) Favorite book from childhood? In a genre? As an adult? There is no possible way for me to pick only one. That being said, if I was stuck on a deserted island, both Pride and Prejudice and Neverwhere would be essential.
Absolutely impossible to pick just one! First, I'd give nods to classics like Dostoevsky, Faulkner etc (not Tolstoy though, not for me). Because they shaped the styles, and genres.
Then I'd go for books that were special for me at some point: How to kill a rockstar, and Boring Girls.
Bur of course, that's barely scratching the surface).

Though Harry Potter was what got me into reading itself, Eragon was what got me into reading high fantasy, which by far is my favorite genre. I'm sort of disappointed that so many people don't like it, although I can see why. I just happened to really enjoy it :)

I really liked Eragon!
My favorites are: The Heroes of Olympus, Land of Stories, The Mortal Instruments, and Throne of Glass

ERAGON IS AMAZING!!!
Palash wrote: "My favourite is Misborn series. In standalones, I think 'And than there were none' gets my vote."And Then There Were None is such a good mystery book. It was the only school assigned book that I actually really enjoyed.
This is hard but there's the books who marked me and are a part of who I am:
The Lovely Bones
Flowers in the Attic
Le Petit Prince
O Livro de Cesário Verde
Animal Farm
This poetry book speaks to me as few things do
گرگی در کمین
The Miki Falls series. - I love the art, I love the flow, I love the story's premise. I think the series is too underrated.

Throne of Glass (A Court of Thorns and Roses)-for the romance and magicLand of Stories-for the spin off on fairy tales
The Heroes of Olympus-for the mythology and humor
The Mortal Instruments-for the magic and humor
All of them for the characters
(The Selection, Fablehaven, etc.)
The Harry Potter Collection no doubts (I'm a cliche of my generation, sue me). I absolutely adore The Little Prince, always will.
And anything from John Marsden speaks to me, but in particular I've reread Checkers about 40 times since high school and refuse to get rid of my copy.
my favourite book is "Go ask Alice" I used to hate reading when I was younger and this was the first book I finished and really loved. Ive read it so many times over the years and it never gets old

I really liked that book, read it a couple of years ago. Have you read anything else by Beatrice Sparks? I actually wouldn't mind revisiting her. I've always had Jay's Journal on my TBR since I finished Go Ask Alice.
I just LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE the Dork Diaries by Rachel Ranee Russel cos it is really funny and it's middle school drama and diary genre which I love!:)❤️👍

Same, I also love it!
@Seljan YES I love the Dork Diaries series! I'm hoping to get all of them because I don't have them anymore but they are such a great memory
My favorite is The Lord of the Rings - becuase of the epicness, the characters, the world building, and so much more! I also really like Terry Pratchett's A Hat Full of Sky for it's unique atmosphere and Sound! Euphonium: Welcome to the Kitauji High School Concert Band because of it's characters and realism.

I also like Eragon! I like the way he describes the elves, the dragons and the dwarves.

It's been a while since I've heard people about the Iron Fey, but I remember reaaally enjoying it as a kid :D It's also the series that got me into YA Fantasy, so it's extra special :)

I read the first book in the remnant chronicles and I really enjoyed it, but I still need to buy the other books!
