Gareth traveled alongside the cord he knew to pass near his weapons stash, holding close in his claw a large bundle of weapons and armor of various materials. He knew where to stop only by the smell that his secret gave off, the smell of metals and leather.

((Thats alright:D))
Ahri dropped onto a platform, surprised that the Astral Sea was more of a floating city than an actual sea. But the astonishing truth of it quickly faded away, she was here to explore this "sea", and she wasnt going to let anybody stop her from accomplishing her goal. Not even her own thoughts for that matter. And so here she was in the middle of nowhere...what next could happen, someone drops from the sky.

Gareth felt his form condense as he started to descend toward the area that he knew best in this strange plane of existence. As his feet thudded to the ground, he threw his load over his shoulder. He thought that he had smelled someone nearby, but this place played with his senses a little, so he dismissed it.
Rolling her eyes, the miniscule nine tailed fox glided somewhere, anywhere that ensured minimal importance. This place was an odd place to call home if no time or space existed here. Her tails rose suddenly flicking from side to side, her ears perked up at an unusual sounds and echos, and her bloodshot eyes narrowed. Someone was here, just her luck. Was there ever going to be a time where she didnt run into anyone? She crossed her arms over her impressive chest and frowned expecting someone to pop out of nowhere.
Gareth continued following the familiar scent across the large platform that he had landed on.The scent of the other person persisted, sometimes farther away, sometimes close enough to almost be within earshot. There was definitely someone else there, but who?
However since no one appeared she debated whether to keep walking or stay pressed up against this wall. Noting down that if it came to running she'd be futile in the means of effective running. "Come out..." She voiced out, almost almost as if she was daring this person to appear. She didnt give a damn who they were, she wasnt afraid. There was nothing to be afraid of in this world. Nothing
Despite listening intently Gareth jumped as someone said "come out." He lost grip of the large heavy bundle, sending it crashing to the ground, creating a noise that could likely be herd for at least several hundred feet.As the echos died, He shouted "If I were hiding, I wouldn't be anymore." He untied the rope holding the bundle together and checked His works for dents or knicks
"Figured it'd be a male." She sneered with a hint of disgust, stepping out of the shadows to face this man or boy, whatever they called themselves now a days. And she ideed stood at a minuscule height, compared to him she was a small child but had the body of a full grown woman. But there was no doubt that Ahri is beautiful, in a deadly sort of way.
Satisfied that nothing was damaged, Gareth tied the bundle. He stood to greet the person, and found himself looking down upon an unusually small woman, who appeared to be quite angry."Hello," He said sticking out his hand for a handshake "my name is Gareth Cain."
She watched them, making sure to hide her scent. Observing, watching, considering her options. Come out or not to come out? She frowned in thought.
She stared at his hand whimsically and sniffed it, and drew back and rubbed her noise. "Am i suppose to shake it." She asked, nodding her head to his outstretched hand. Strange human custom, typical. "Ahri Destati." She growled nastingly, crossing her arms over her chest and straining her neck to look up at him.
Gareth lowered his hand "Normally yes, but i can see that my scent isn't very appealing."he now noticed the tails behind the woman, at first glance they appeared to be a part of her outfit, but upon further Inspection he saw that they were real, moving in elegant ways, in near unison, never colliding, as though each tail knew where the others would be.
She smirked and tilted her head to the side. "You seem too friendly for my liking." She said bluntly, staring at his lowered hand. Then she followed his gaze, noticing that he was staring at her nine tails. "Um what are you staring at?" her eyes narrowed and she dropped her tails to ghe floor, her nose wafting something from a further distance and she nodded toeard the shadows. "Also your not very good at hiding so i suggest you come out unknown person." She hissed looking behind him at the figure
Cynth chuckled and stepped out from the shadows. "So nice of you to notice." She said to Ahri. Smiling at the scowling figure. "But I let you notice me, so no need to get upset," she continued, "I am a much better hider than you think." She nodded her head to Gareth in greeting.
Gareth nodded back with a friendly smirk. He stretched out his hand again, then pulled it back and sniffed it quickly, to verify that it didn't smell odd, then stuck it back out. Smiling, and embarrassed, he said "I'm Gareth Cain"
Ahri rolled her eyes, great another cocky figure. "Says the one who debated on whether to be seen or not." She murmured, yawning boredly and shifting from one leg to other, anticipating anything to happen. Going on her merry way would also do her good as well.
"Very nice to meet you Gareth," she shook his hand, "don't mind the fox, she thinks she is too cool for shaking hands, but it is a nice tradition, I think" She glanced at Ahri, ignoring her comment, who was scowling boredly at her. Stepping back from Gareth she looked at the Abyss of Astral Sea.
Gareth looked at the abyss as well. It occured to him that they might find his stash, but so what if they did. At least one of them smelled trustworthy and the other probably wouldn't care enough to take anything. What would a dragon do? Probably kill them both and take anything that he found on them back to the hoard.i won't do that
talk until you decide he told himself
"I like it here," he said, still looking at the abyss "it's quiet and there's never anyone else here."
Stretching Ahri weaved her glossy white tails together, smiling slightly as the crimson glistened at the dawn of the Abyss. Finally fluffling them away from her body as she stretched, her lips parted slightly as she yawned, appearing childlike with a beauty so detering it was everything but odd! However the moment her lips closed a sneer instantly replaced the firm set of her lips. "It wont be for long...." She said, sniffing the air, her hips tilted to the side the movement of her arms crossed over her impressive chest, tapping her long sharp black nails on her forearm
"That is true" said Cynth "the Abyss can get pretty crowded by mid day" Cynth looked up at the sky of the Abyss, the sun will rise soon, making the world look clearer and everything brighter than it was now.
"It's dawn already?" Gareth exclaimed "I have to get this to the hoard quick, before too many people show up!" He picked up his bundle of weapons and armor and turned to the two women "You'll probably follow me anyway, so, do you guys want to see my hoard?"
Ahri instead of answering just followed him, these two were the only source of entertainment anyway, and they looked none to eager to let a little blood shed. Which was boring but eh she had no other choice. Stick with annoying people you'll never go wrong. She snorted, and waited for the man to move his legs and lead the way
Cynth heard what was going on through Ahri's head and told her, aloud. "It's better not to have bloodshed Ahri, it would be better that you would go down to the land of the dead for that." Smiling she followed Gareth to where he was going, paying no mind to Ahri's unsuprised face and protesting howls.
Gareth led the way, following his nose to what looked like a manhole cover with the word "Cain" stamped onto the top. Gareth set his bundle on the ground beside the hole, then stuck his finger into a circular hole in the metal, he effortlessly lifted the cover to reveal a sewer entrance .After setting down the cover on the other side of the hole, He turned and bowed with a twist of his wrist and said "ladies first, be sure to watch your step on the ladder"
Ahri smirked, but jumped into the sewer hole. Cynth you got a lot of hopes thinking id be "shocked and howling" in protest at your futile ramblings. She said intending Cynth to read her thoughts, since that seems like the only thing she could do at the moment. Being in the land of the dead would be heaven compared to these "peaceful" realms.
Cynth didn't say anything. It seemed to her that Ahri was quite rude, but she would bask in pleasure for saying that to her too. So she would give Ahri exactly what she didn't want. But really, she had no interest in Ahri, or anything else in the Abyss. She was just here to get to.....somewhere else.
Gareth followed the two down the ladder, stopping to pull the cover over the hole. He stepped off of the ladder into a bricked off area of sewer about a mile and a half long, with floors that had been swept clean of any dirt or grime, and walls lined end to end with wooden armor stands and weapons racks, some filled some not. A small "kitchen" was set in the farthest left corner from the ladder. "Well this is it." Gareth said as he set down the large bundle "If your hungry, i just stocked the shelves yesterday" He walked over to an armor stand with some black armor on it, took a cloth out of his pocket and started to clean it.
Cynth observed her new terrain, and from all the metals and armor she saw, she guessed that Gareth must be a smith of some kind, it was rare for her to see one around though. Probably a dragon shifter too, his eyes revealed it to her, the shifting and slit like things. She spotted a couch nearby and plopped on to it. She was still wary of Gareth, she was like that in a way.
Gareth finished cleaning the armor and walked over to the small kitchen area, he opened the cabinets and pulled out a jar of honey and a small half eaten loaf of bread. He took a spoon and knife from a drawer and began to slice off a piece of bread. "So, Cynth, what brings you to the Abyssal Sea?" he asked, not particularly wanting to talk to the death-obsessed fox. "You don't have to say if you don't want to." he finished slicing and began slathering the bread with honey.
Cynth watched Gareth as he put the honey on the bread, and replied to his question, reluctantly and wary. " I don't always come here for going somewhere else, I came because I like to watch and see who passes," Cynth looked up at the wooden ceiling of the building, thinking before continuing, "it's interesting to me, many people pass by here and such different jobs or places they have to go to." Cynth fell silent again and leaned back on the plump couch.

((Sorry guys, my cousin borrowed my phone a couple of days ago and forgot about it))"Well, If you can't tell, I'm a blacksmith. My parents don't know about it, sometimes i wonder they even know that i exist." he said, walking over to the couch, leaning on it, but not sitting down. "Most of the stuff that i make i sell to collectors and people looking for unusual decorations, but everything that i make can be used."
Should i tell them my other secret? he asked himself, then remembered that Cynth can read minds
Cynth got wind of the question running in his mind. She reached her mind toward him and replied. You don't have to, I presumed of what your secret is. But it is your choice to tell Ahri. I won't tell. And the thing was, she wouldn't, she wasn't mean like that, when she discovered her Sight she knew that she would have to use it cautiously.
Ahri showed no sign of interest in thwir blatherings and instead examined his peice of work. "Not bad." She whispered, running her fingers through her white hair than running the nails up and down the case that kept the armor hidden or least untanigble from her.
((God, sorry guys, so much has popped up in the past, like, week i think.))Do you need to be somewhere? Gareth thought, trying to direct the question toward Cynth, He had noticed a slightly anxious smell from the Woman, but that could be the Sea messing with him.
He took a bite of the bread As he turned toward Ahri. "You look bored." he called
Ahri turned around around to look at him and cross her arms. "No, really." she sneered, turning back to tap her long black nails against the glass case containing some kind of armor. She didnt know what it was, but it intrigued her. But not to the point where she would ask him all about it.
((Das okay:) ))))
((Das okay:) ))))
Cynth raised an eyebrow at Gareth no, I'm a wanderer then she directed her gaze at Ahri. "Could you be a bit more polite?" Cynth asked Ahri, annoyed at her pretentious bastardly manners. She wasn't going to burst on her, she was just going to leave, it made her furious about the unkindness people had, even if she herself was a little like that, she did have a furious temper.
Gareth suppressed a growl rising in his throat, gotta stay calm. This is why i don't like people. he let out a deep breath, and took another bite, about half of the bread was gone. "There isn't much to do down here, but i guess that's why i like it" he said as he swallowed the bite.
"It does seem nice." Cynth said, she let her magic flow to Gareth and Ahri, the magic was supposed to calm them, keep them from biting each other to pieces. A song came up in Cynth head, so she sang in in her mind. She did not like a lot of company or people either, she was very introverted, having her life go that way, she put her mind into calmness from time to time, and philosophical thoughts and ideas. She wondered what time it was, she could tell time from the Sun but that was not a very accurate way to do it. Cynth felt her mind wander, resting her eyes and putting her hands behind her head, but still being aware of talk and movement.
Gareth felt himself becoming calmer, as he took another bite of his bread. He felt like a wave of cool water had just washed across his mind. He began to hum to himself, a tune that he had heard being played by a musician on the side of a street in his hometown. He noticed the armor that Ahri was looking at, it was the black armor. He walked over and without thinking began talking "shadow steel with ironhide style leather straps." he put his hand to the glass "my favorite of everything that i've made"
Ahri felt the trickle of Cynth's power intrude on her mind. Forcing her to calm down, she didnt try to fight it, no matter how tempted she was too crush it. But really she wasnt in the mood to care anyway, she just wanted this blasted day to finish. And more importantly she found the black armor to be rather unique, it sparked her foxy curiousity. She wanted to no more, even though the guy told her she still wanted to know more about this significant peice. But all she said was, "Humph, what else?"
Cynth was drowning in her own thoughts. But the thing she forgot was, sometimes when she entered her mind of thought, her past came back to her as if she was struck by lightning. She remembered the time when......when.....no. She sat up with a start, breathing heavily and feeling a little dizzy. She hated that feeling. She wanted to pour her eyes out right there, in front of the judging fox and antisocial Gareth. Thankfully they were too preoccupied with looking at armor and didn't notice her. She swallowed back the lump in her throats and ran her fingers through her dark hair with brown streaks here and there. She wouldn't be weak, never again would she ever be weak and helpless. Taking several deep breaths she bottled her feelings in her too tight heart, the heart that she kept locked up from everyone and feelings that were coiled inside.
Gareth heard Cynth's breathing change but decided that he shouldn't mention it. He turned his attention back to the armor "it took three months of work to make all of the plates, two weeks to piece them together and another month working with the leather" he continued to explain. "The metal is an extremely strong form of steel that was shaped and tempered using dragon fire, this gives it the blackened appearance"
