Mana was having a great time on the way there, and couldn't help but be a little bit disappointed when they got there. She let go of Sanae, and started to take off the helmet. Her heart was beating kind of fast from excitement. "That was great." She said, smiling. She looked at he restaurant. "So you work here?" She asked Sanae. "It's very quaint looking." She said, admiring it.
Sanae was smiling with excitement and pride when she removed her helmet, after parking and turning the bike off, of course. "Yup! My sister works here too, but not as often. She has leeway because of our family, so she only comes in when she wants some extra cash," she replied before dismounting the bike and then helping Mana off. She carefully untied the stuffed dog and retied her flannel before reaching out for Mana's hand. "Let's go, yeah?"
Mana nodded, and took her hand. "Yeah." She said, looking around as they stepped inside. She had never been to this place before, so she couldn't help but be curious. "What is your shift here?" She asked, thinking of possibly visiting her while she was working one day. She didn't know if it was a good idea to do so or not, but she thought doing it sometime would be fun.
"I work on the odd days, because I don't like even numbers. Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and I take off Sunday," Sanae explained as they walked in the door. "Look, Natsu, you can stop flirting with me and move on now!" By the tone of her voice and the way she held up her and Mana's joined hands so the tall boy at the counter could see, it was clear that the boy had somehow irritated her. He scowled down at Mana, but before he could say anything, she flipped him off with the hand she had linked with Mana's. "Get us a menu, will ya?" And then she guided Mana toward an empty table near the back.
Mana looked at the one called Natsu, and flashed him a small frown as he scowled down at her. Surprisingly, Mana was a bit childish at times, judging by how she stuck her tongue out at him when Sanae wasn't looking. Mana sat in front of Sanae at the table they were at, and looked at her as they waited for the menu. "So you want a weird name for one of our children?" She asked her, getting used to calling the stuffed animals their children.
"Both, if you don't mind. It has to be a name in a different language so people will be both confused and amazed at our name choices," Sanae stated, though she growled at the guy, Natsu, she had spoken to seconds before when he brought them their menus. He scowled again at Mana until Sanae grabbed his tie and yanked him down to her face level. "I am here as a customer, asshole. You will be polite, or I will report you," she snarled. When she felt she had scared him thoroughly enough, she released him and shoved him a little. "Can someone else wait on us?" She pretended to ignore the word he hissed under his breath as he walked away. The boy was no victim—he was no boy either. He was twenty-one, thought he was hot, and wouldn't stop harassing her.
"Ah I see.. Is Bella an odd one?" Mana asked, and looked at Natsu. She had thought the two were friends who played around, but she realized he was really just harassing her. She didn't say anything, but she did hear what he said, and couldn't help but glare daggers at his back. Mana didn't normally glare at people, but this stranger was an exception. "Does he do that a lot?" She asked Sanae, looking away from him.
The word Natsu had hissed at Sanae was 'bitch'. She was snapped out of her thoughts by Mana's voice. "Um, no... Bella isn't a weird enough name. He does do that a lot. He's been flirting with me, but it got more hardcore I told him to leave my sister alone. After he found out that my family's got doe," she told her softly.
"Okay It's italian. I'll think of a different one though." Mana said. "So he basically wants money I assume?" She asked quietly. This made her kind of upset, especially since he was twenty one, and Sanae was seventeen." She crossed her legs, and glanced out the window for a moment.
"I'm pretty sure... But I wanted him to stay away from my sister, who didn't tell him about it, and then he came onto me stronger," Sanae explains. She falls silent when a female coworker walks over to their table. "Hey, Aiya," Sanae greets. "Can I have a Diet Coke as a drink? My order is the usual." The girl, beautiful, long-legged, nods and then turns to look at Mana. "Your order?" she asks in a clear, lovely voice.
"Can I have a Sprite for a drink, and the order she's getting?" Mana asked unsure what to get. She ordered the same as what Sanae got, doubting that it would taste bad. She nodded at Sanae, and sighed as the female worker left. "That's horrible."
"It's life, Manacchi. Sexism is everywhere, you've just gotta be careful and look out for yourself and others," Sanae replied once the girl had left. "Anyway! Enough with that talk! How about we think of names for our children? I really want at least one to be a guy." Despite her trying to change the subject, her eyes didn't lose their darkness from their previous conversation.
"Okay." Mana said. "Yes, that sounds good. Either of them can be a guy, I don't really mind which one." She replied, noticing the darkness still in her eyes. She sighed a little seeing this, but didn't want to bring it up again.
"Hmm.... I like the name Eddie. But I already have a moose stuffed animal named Eddie. Albert! My dog's name will be Albert," Sanae stated firmly, laughing softly, her eyes brightening a bit. "What about yours? It's fine to give it a dude name and then have it still be a girl. Who gives a spit, y'know?"(The moose thing is a fact. I actually have a moose stuffed animal that I named Eddie.)
((Lolol))
Mana listened to her talk about names. "Ooh okay. What about Charlie?" She asked, thinking it'd be an okay name. "Mine will still be a girl, and yeah, you're right." She said to her.
Mana listened to her talk about names. "Ooh okay. What about Charlie?" She asked, thinking it'd be an okay name. "Mine will still be a girl, and yeah, you're right." She said to her.
"Oooooh! Charlie is nice! Could I call her Char?" Sanae asked, smiling a small smile. She pet the head of the fluffy stuffed dog to her right, as the other side was her exit. Then their drinks came around and she thanked her coworker. When she left again, Sanae turned her lovely smile back at Mana.
Mana put her hand on the stuffed cat, and nodded. "Of course you can. Can I call him Al?" She asked looking at the stuffed dog. She took a small sip of her drink after thanking the lady, and then looked back at Sanae. She returned her smile.
"Yeah! Al and Char, our children! This is amazing," Sanae said, laughing with more heart. Then she blushed shyly and looked away. "Um... Are you enjoying our date...? Did you possibly want something else to do, or...? I'm sorry, I'm just anxious. I've never been on a date with someone I actually...like before..."
Mana blushed a little, and smiled. "This date has been great." She said. "I can't think of anything else I'd want to do, and don't worry! I was anxious as well..Are you enjoying the date..?" She asked her, not wanting to be the only one enjoying it.
Sanae smiled brightly, her eyes sparkling. "Of course! I've loved all of this date, and I really...don't want it to end," she said truthfully, still blushing shyly. "I really like you, Manacchi..."
"I agree..a-and I like you a lot too." Mana said, looking away a bit nervously. She was smiling, and her eyes were sparkling. "Do you wanna have a second date sometime..?" She asked Sanae.
Sanae nodded eagerly, cheeks a light pink. "I would love another date, Manacchi! And... I'm really glad our feelings are mutual," she said, scratching her cheek with embarrassment. "W...we have children anyway! We wouldn't want them to be torn over choosing between us." She laughed at her joke, trying to ease her fluttering heart.
Mana nodded, and chuckled at the joke. "Exactly." She said, and sipped her sprite. She swirled the straw around the drink, and looked around the restaurant. "Do you get busy often while you work here?" She asked.
"Hmmm... Not really. Only on the weekends, and after public school gets out does this place get busy. It's more of a back-corner wonder though. No one really knows about it unless your friend knows, or something like that. One time though, I totally caught some Ouran kids here. From the academy, not the public one. The terror on their faces when they saw me was amazing."
That's good to hear. Mana thought. She imagined a bunch of Ouran kids coming here, which surprised her. "Really? A lot of them are snobby, so it's interesting to think that some would come here." She said.
"Well, it was only a few of them. They were probably scholarship kids, y'know? Almost everyone at Ouran are prissy assholes, so I really doubt they would ever come here. Though, there are some nice people. Like you..."
"You're nice too y'know." Mana said, agreeing that it probably was some scholarship kids. She hated how a lot of the people in Ouran were a bunch of jerks, but she couldn't do anything about it sadly.
(I would not drink that 'punch of jerks' lololol)(Would you like to bring this date to a close sometime soon???)
((Oh my gosh lolol and yeah, if you're okay with it))
((Hm..~ Maybe one of them gets a call that they need to get home? Or we could just do a timeskip to when they part ways?))
After their amazing dinner and the extra hour they spent talking, not to mention the twenty minutes they spent at the crane machine trying to get one of the stuffed toys, Sanae drove Mana to her home on the back of her motorcycle. Once they stopped off at the girl's house, she helped her off and then pulled her close, removing both of their helmets. "Manacchi, I had fun. We'll definitely have another date sometime," she declared, smiling brightly. Then she kissed the girl softly.
Mana kissed her back, and then pulled away. "Thank you for taking me, it was splendid." She said, excited about having another date sometime. She walked up to the front door of her house, and waved at Sanae. She held onto the stuffed cat as she watched her drive off, and then pulled out her key, and unlocked the door. She sighed happily, causing her maid to look surprised. Especially at the small blush and goofy smile.
