I also released a short film this year. Be warned - it's about mental health, suicide, and depression, and may contain triggers. It's based on the blog in the website above.

Contrary to the film and blog, I actually write comedy, erotica, what-have-you, but my roots are firmly grounded in horror.

Feel free to contact me, friend request me, or whatever you want to at me! :)

Lisa Frankel | 10 comments It's here!!!

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00JBOS...

Ali couldn't have known that the door, that had been in her floor her whole life, was not just to keep monsters from getting out...but to keep her from getting in. She will soon discover another realm that she is destined to be a part of. Full of power struggles and greed, Ali will become the target, a key to the top. Desiring something unattainable and discovering who she really is, she gets caught up in an epic battle. Just when she thinks her world has calmed down, she receives a letter from an impossible source. On a mission to find the author of the letter and answers about its contents, Ali finds her world thrown upside down once again. Will she find the answers she is seeking and deserves? Or will she continue to be swallowed whole by the demons of her past and present?

It's dystopian, young adult, fantasy. You can find it on iBooks, Nook, Kindle, Lulu, Amazon, etc.

Enjoy! :)

message 13: by SheReads (new)

SheReads (shereads42) Hello everyone! I'm Michelle and, like most of you, my journey towards writing was an unusual one. I never had a desire to write when I was a teenager. Instead, I went straight from high school to college. I graduated with a business, economic, and accounting degree in 2011. Throughout my life, I had battled an unknown illness that would come and go. It affected my life but didn't hold me back too much. After college, it started to get worse and eventually became a full disability. Needing something productive to do, I started writing. I fell in love with it and couldn't stop. Now, I thank my illness for finally giving me something I can be passionate about.

My first book, Dawn of Rebellion, is free all week and my second, Day of Reckoning, comes out tomorrow!

Richard Murray | 6 comments I have been a prolific reader since a young age and I have wanted to write for many years now.
As it happens, my youngest child is now at the stage where her only real interest in me is at meal times, so I find myself with enough time to do some writing. I have recently published my second book. Both are in the zombie category and I look forward to writing more and improving my skills.
My profile has an author page here if anyone is interested and I am always on the look out for some new and interesting books to read.

Hey, Richard!

Great to meet you. I must admit, I've never read a zombie book on account of me being a massive wuss lol! :)

Hey.

I have just had a six month period where I could read nothing but zombie books and decided to create my own story with a somewhat different main character than the others. I am happy with the result.

Linda Dobinson (baspoet) Hi, I have been divorced twice and I have issues with OCD. I never made the most of school so back in the 90's I signed up with the Open University and spent six years studying for a BA degree. It was during my OU days that I started writing poetry.
