So I'm working through editing my own novel... I cannot believe how much it's changed. I'm currently reading Sarah J. Maas' A Court of Thorns and Roses, and I can't help but think about how impeccable her writing is. I've sort of noticed that as I edit today, I'm beginning to add more narrative. The only problem is, my book is already over 100K, and I have no idea how to cut it down. Any suggestions?

Leah | 2 comments Have you had any critique partners or beta readers read it yet? I find it's sometimes easier for other people to find and cut unnecessary descriptions, etc. than it is to do on your own. Also, make sure each scene and character has a purpose, combining when you're able to do so.
