. among the many bars and clubs around new orleans, bat bar and club is one of the best. there's no certain reason as to why - it's just gotten that reputation. serving extraordinary drinks with amazing entertainment, the place is packed every night. whether you're here having a good time with friends or just stopping by for a drink, you'll have a magical experience. it's rumored that a vampire owns the place.

Vanessa sighed as she walked into the Bat Bar and Club because she needed time to think for herself. She had worked all day at the cafe. "Get me a Bahama mama, please." She said to the bartender as she she sat on the stool in front of the bar and waited patiently.

And suddenly the bar changed around her. It was suddenly the 1840’s wild west bars. The booze was flowing, the men were playing and the bar floozies were looking to score.

Not even Vanessa was free from this scene as she was wearing one of her old dresses, except this time it was made of the finest silks and threads. It was if it was made by angels, well an angel.

“One Bahama Mama, on the house of course.” The Bartender had changed as well to a rugged looking man. He was in his late thirties with ice cold eyes.

"And for your first question, yes this is real but it's a memory."

Vanessa was amazed by the sudden change in scenery this was something that she wasn't expecting at all. When she felt her clothes change into the type of clothes she used to wear. She turned her head to see the bartender was a different guy. This guy looked familiar but she couldn't put her finger on it. " Thank you." She said drinking some of the drink

Lucifer nodded, as the men in the bar began to smile and notice how beautiful she was. "You were queen in these parts weren't you?" The man began, seeing all the attention she got. "You got respect because you demanded it.... what happened? Why would ever slink to these... mortals?"

Vanessa's eyes sparkled figuring out exactly who she was talking to especially remembering that Baron warned her about Lucifer long ago. She shrugged it off a little feeling slightly interested in what he had to say. "Yeah I was known very well in Tombstone back in the day because I didn't put up with morons." She replied and thought about the fact he was right she did get respect from the people around her then. She looked around and smirked when she saw the men that used to play poker with her.

“You were a goddess among mortals,” Lucifer began as the men started to tip their hats on the way out the door. Sliding her another Bahama Mama, Lucifer appeared in the seat next to her. “And now look at you… tied down to some second-rate vampire when he should be bowing before his queen.” Lucifer took her palm and gently kissed it. His kiss leaving a beautiful blood red ruby ring in its place. “ I assume you know who I am,” Lucifer began as he sipped his own drink.

"I was but no one could remember me now anyways because it was a long time ago." She sighed and looked at the ring then looked at him. "Baron has been there for me when nobody else was there." She drank her Bahama Mama and looked into his cold eyes. "Yes I know Lucifer when I see him." She said looking at him in full.

Lucifer gave a nod. " I see my reputation does precedes me in these parts as well." Lucifer heard the words she said and frowned. "And your master told me not to trust me? Why? I created your race, the mother of dark creatures is the first demon I created, Lilith," Lucifer went on. " I was cast down from my family because I refused to love humans more than him... and people judge me because I stood up to my "master".... tell me, how is that fair?"

"Because he thinks that you're arrogant, manipulative,rotten and a total Sociopath." Vanessa frowned as she drank some of her bahama mama. "I can believe it because I've seen things and heard things. " She added and chuckled as she thought about things.

“Arrogant?” Lucifer seemed surprised by what she said and laughed. “I guess standing up to your Father and rebelling against an all-powerful being means you have to be a little arrogant.” When ht vampire listed off more traits, a spark of anger crossed his face before cooling again. “Tell me Vanessa, you have a den of vampires and what if on of them betrayed your family? Wouldn’t you destroy them for the safety and security of your family? I know I would.”

When Vanessa saw the spark of anger on his face for a brief moment she started to understand that though she may not have thought of him that way, the words were very demeaning. She took another swig of her drink not feeling the buzz at all as she listened to him." Well if I found out that someone betrayed my family I would want to know why and depending on what they did I would possibly decide to give them a chance at redemption. Now if it were a time when this person has done more than one thing to betray me or my family then I would definitely want to get rid of them so that my family was safe." She responded hoping that she made sense in her answer. She remembered that she was in a memory meaning that soon they'd be able to see her past self(human) dancing.

“Do you know I fell?” Lucifer began the scene slowly changing into a beautiful place. Vanessa was now dressed in a white angelic robe. “My Father created these humans and demanded me and brothers love them more then him.” The beautiful place turned to a battle field with ancient humans killing each other brutally with swords and fire. “To love these barbaric animals more than him.” The scene then flashed back to the old bar. “I refused, so for my crime of loving my family I was cast into the worst prison imaginable.” The scene then flashed to Hell, which was filled with fire and screams so loud they’d blow your ears. The bar finally returned to its old-timey state as Lucifer appeared in front of Vanessa. “All I seek now is to drag my Father’s plane into an age for the creatures of hell. For the children of the night to rise up and spill the blood of these hairless apes” He extended his hand to Vanessa. “Will you help me make this into a world of Darkness?”

Vanessa listened to Lucifer and could tell that he wasn't lying through his teeth. She looked into his eyes, "What motive would I have to do so?" She asked though she knew the answer already. She wanted to hear him say it because it felt like he was more convincing.

Lucifer looked her directly in the eyes. His soulless black eyes connecting to her blood red ones. Suddenly Lucifer changed the scene to the screams of multiple vampires dying. Their screams of agony and pain piercing deep into Vanessa's being. A small vampire child ran up to Vanessa, begging for her to help him, only to be pierced by a shadowy figure straight into his heart killing him instantly.

"How many more of your kind need to die before these monkies realize whose at the top of the food chain?" He asked as serious as he could be. His hand still extended for the deal.

Vanessa felt pain in her heart after going through the haunting scene. She looked at him her face showing such pain and agony. "No more! I have seen enough!" She slammed her hand against the counter.

Lucifer snapped his fingers. The scene finally turned back to the Bat Bar Vannessa knew and loved but everyone was frozen in whatever state they were when Lucifer entered. Lucifer was right across from her, his hand outstretched for a deal. “You know the only way you can save your race and put them on top.”

((@Gatbsy it looks like Mimi has left the group...? Idk why, but whatever. Soo...if you want to kill two birds with one stone (getting Lucifer free from this rp and getting rid of the only character Mimi had created, you can have Lucy kill Vanessa. It'd be entertaining for me--and hopeful you. Get to tap into that dark side of Lucifer without any drawback. If you don't wanna kill her, I'll find a way to do it in one of my posts XD))

Vanessa glared at Lucifer with tears in her eyes. "I'm sorry but no." Lucifer's eyes glared a bit before shrugging. " I see I cannot change your mind, for the record I was gonna but vampires on top... temporarily... in all honestly your race disgust me."

Before Vannessa could react, Lucifer's eyes glow a bright ghostly white. He extended his palm, and from it, an extremely bright white light came from it engulfing the entire Bar. When the light retreated, it left nothing but the vampires in ashes and all of the bar in destruction. Lucifer quickly absorbed the souls in his being before snapping his being to recreate the furniture and service.

Grabbing a bottle a wine from the counter, Lucifer overlooked his handy work and disappeared without a trace.
