Ok, ladies and gentlemen....Ive decided to create Monthly Challenges! These are challenges designed to help you focus on your current bookshelves and NOT those new, shiny, beautiful books at the store. Hahaha!
Listed below are challenges you may wish to complete. You can skip one or two if needed. Pop back in when you find one that suits you! There's no pressure and it's all for fun!
You can tweak these a little to help work for your shelves, but the idea is to motivate you to read as many books as possible that meet the challenge. If that's only 1 book...so what! Lol Hope you enjoy and spread the word to friends!
TBR HOT SPOT Monthly Challenges:
May- "Read a Book Outside Your Comfort Zone" Maybe this is an author you've never heard of or heard not-so-great things about? Maybe this is a genre that you don't read very often, but you have books in that category? Or maybe this book just freaks you out! Lol (Reminder: Read 1 or 51 it's up to you!)
June- "Read That Book That's Taunting You From The Shelves" That book that you never pick up, but you know you should. That huge book or book you swore you would finish. It taunts you and now you need to get the last laugh! HA!!!
July- "A Book That Got A Lot Of Hype In Its Day" Whether it was 20 years ago or just last year, this book was all the buzz. You bought it, of course! Yet, you never read it. Now's the time, my friends.
August- "Cover Appeal" The books you would love to show off on Instagram because they are just too pretty/cool not to read.
September- "Favorite Authors" It could be your friends favorite author, your relatives or your own. Choose a book or books from an author that is beloved.
October- "A Book That Spells Trouble" Literally, use the letters in the word T-R-O-U-B-L-E and find a book that starts with one of them! Hehe! "The" absolutely counts! (This challenge brought to you by the fabulous @that_one_girl_who_reads on instagram. Go check her out! She's amazing!)
November- "A Book You Are Thankful To Have" This is a book that you found by mistake or it was the last copy at the store. It's a book that means something special to you or came from someone dear to you.
December- "It All Ends Here" Oh No! The year is almost over! Find the books left on your shelves that you swore you'd finish and finish them! Quickly!!!!
