I really loved this book, it was easy to read and very interesting for anyone who likes historical fiction. This term our inquiry topic is "Why does Auckland look the way it does?" and this book perfectly suits that topic. I'm undecided about it as a read aloud, it could depend on the class. Very suitable for years 7 and 8.
