Books & Boba discussion

Happy Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, everyone! This month we will be reading Viet Thanh Nguyen's Pulitzer-winning novel THE SYMPATHIZER. It's the longest book we've ever picked for book club, so we encourage people to start reading as soon as possible.

As always, there will be a live LA meet-up and a Google Hangout discussion of the book after the deadline. More info on those meetings will be up on our Facebook page and the Goodreads forums!

This is awesome, as I loved his insightful piece in Radical Hope!

Unfortunately, it looks like I won't be able to take part in the discussion for this novel. Having been through a rough patch as of recently along with other things that appear to be happening at once, I haven't had time to sit down and properly read the book.
