The Not a Book Club Club discussion

So I got my copy today. I'm hoping to start this week, but I'm doing it in paperback and my reading time hasnt been a thing since like February, so I may be slow. I'll try to make discussion threads after work tomorrow though..

I was so happy to see I won a copy - just because....it's rare for me to win something and finals weeks stink, even for the professors :) So that was a bright spot.

I'm excited because 3 books I'm really anxious for are released in the next week or so - right when school gets out. Nice combination.

Yeah, May is a busy month. I got a jump start on Assassin's Fate, or it'd be even busier.

Yup, I got an early copy of Assassin's Fate too. Between that and winning the copy of this book, it was a happy week!

Geoff, you are the trailblazer! I've been thinking about this series - I remember wondering at the end of the last book who would be the POV of this one - I can see from the description that it is Sigurd, which makes me happy (I THINK - since he always seemed like a man of few words).

AND....seems to me that the book description is kind of spoiler-y. I hope that what they mention happens at the very first, because if it doesn't, then the publishers have been very naughty.

Yeah. What they mention in the book description happens in chapter 1. So its kind of a spoiler but really its just introducing the plot.

I am reading this after I finish Sins of Empire - given my current pace probably another week :)

Picked up the audiobook but need to wrap up my current 2 first.
