Dᴇsᴄʀɪᴘᴛɪᴏɴ: Alexander Dreymon : Bo has long ash brown hair that goes past his shoulders with natural waves to it. As for facial hair, he has both a beard and mustache which he has had trimmed and kept since becoming a guard. His eyes seem to hold all his emotions and only those who truly him know him can see what's beyond those steel blue eyes of his. On his face there are two scars. The first one starting above his right brow and going down the side of his face and ending below his eye and the second one going across his left cheek. Bo has a fair complexion which is usually tanned from his time working and training. He stands to be about 6'1 with a muscular build and weighs no more than 194lbs. Several more jagged scars cover Bo's back and torso. His voice is deep and has a rich northern accent.
Dʀᴇssɪɴɢ Aᴘᴘᴇᴀʀʟ Sᴛʏʟᴇ: With such long hair, Bo usually has it pulled up into a ponytail or half of it pulled into a bun. He is usually seen in his own unique armor or in more peasant farmer like clothing. He refuses anyone who tries to cut his hair or tries to measure him for proper high status looking clothing. Bo prefers his own leather and fur covered armor and loose cotton clothing over restricting clothing that royals, nobles, and everyone else affiliated with them wear.



Pᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ
× Bo is not the typical viking, he isn't harsh and bloodthirsty like many believe. He's a lost soul, trying to find his purpose in this world. Around many people Bo's a blank slate of emotions, but it's only to protect himself. He's hiding his pain and grief, the loss of his wife and child. When around people he cares about and knows, he's a genuine man that will tell a joke every once in awhile but is also loyal to a fault.
× While Bo is a kind man he's also protective about those he takes under his wing. With the loss of his own child, Bo has promised himself that he will protect Cyrille with his own life. He is a rather serious for his age and does take the role of a father as he acts older and was once was one. He'll often give advice to those who need it or ask for it. Bo is also a man that needs a purpose and for those that see past his past understand some of his choices. Since both having a child and having to learn a new language, Bo has learned to be patient even through his frustrations.



Hɪsᴛᴏʀʏ
× Bo was born on the 19th of October during harvest time. His parents were farmer. They had little to no money and were barely growing enough to feed two kid. Bo had a hard working life, he was a strong boy though. His father put use of him when he was only eight years old. He was quick to learn the life of a farmer because he had to survive.
× His family continued to struggle with keeping food on the table so they decided to marry of their oldest child, Bo. He was young and a stulky man, so having a small farm of his own wasn't the problem. His neighbors was the Ulfssons and they were poor as well but both them and his family got to talk and decided to marry Bo with their youngest daughter. Dagný was only a year younger than him but Bo didn't love her. Both families were putting part of their land together for the young couple as they knew it would mean more food will grow.
× At fifteen Bo was married and farming his own land. He knew what married couples done and both families expected children from them, so within the year Dagný was pregnant. Bo and Dagný agreed to be friends and make their marriage work the best they could. Finally when their baby was born, Bo lost his heart. His daughter became his world. Ylva was quite small but she made it unlike what everyone thought.
× It was when Bo was twenty that raiders started attacking. It was a normal day and he was working in the field while little four year old Ylva was playing around the house. It was when he heard the horse in the distance that he began to worry. Bo stopped his work and went towards the house. He quickly picked up his daughter and brought her inside where he then grabbed his sword, a gift from Dagný's father.
× Dagný didn't question him and Bo went back out to the field to see them coming. They were fierce and there was so many. Everything after that was a blur as his sword clashed with metal and skin. Eventually he was knocked onto the ground as the raiders went for his house. There was so much screaming before he blacked out.
× Once Bo came around, he wished he hadn't. His home was a mess and it was mostly because of all the blood. He made it to his bedroom to see his wife on the floor with her clothes shredded and open wounds everywhere. She was breathing but there was nothing to do to save her. He bent down and stayed beside her before she died. Dagný made him promise to protect Ylva since she had been hidden.
× After her last breath, Bo searched for his daughter and he wished he hadn't. Ylva was in her room with a slashed neck. Bo fell to his knees and pull her small body to his chest. Her blond locks were covered in blood along with her clothes. Bo just stayed there and wept for his daughter. She had been his life.
× Hours he stayed there before he finally started to prepare their funeral. His own body was beaten and he was half dead it seemed to look like. After hours of preparing a bonfire Bo went inside to his wife and daughter's bodie, he had redressed them and scrubbed the blood from them before carrying them one by one out to the bonfire. Dagný first then Ylva, he made sure that Ylva was in Dagný's arms so it looked like a loving embrace. He knew well that his baby was scared of being alone and scared of the dark. With a moment's respect he than lit the bonfire and watched them burn. It hurt Bo's heart to know they were dead.
× After the bonfire, Bo took his farm horse and rode towards one of the port cities. He was in a pub for the longest time before some vikings came along. They were pirates and easily seen as that. Bo decided to join their ship as he had lost everything. His friend that he was beginning to love and his daughter.
× It hadn't been long since Bo joined the ship, maybe two an a half years. Somehow their ship had hit a patch of rock and started to sink. They weren't too far away from shore but some of the others refused to leave the ship. So Bo dove into the water and swam to shore. It was probably the worst idea to have thought of doing because once on shore he was arrested.
× Apparently he had gotten to France and the French didn't like pirates. For living the sailor life, Bo was sentenced to be executed. It had been a few months as a lot of prisoners in the town were being executed. Finally when it was his turn there was an attack. He knew it wasn't for him to escape but instead a young girl. When he saw her blood hair it reminded him of his daughter. The color was the exact same.
× He jumped into action as his promise to his wife came into his mind. His hands were still bound and he fought and jumped in front of this girl. He uses his head, body, and legs to knock down her attackers. When all the action was over his guards rushed to make sure he didn't run off. Bo was walking back to executioner when the girl he saved announced she was a princess and wanted him to be freed.
× It shocked him but even more when she said she wanted him as a guard to her. He complied because she looked so much like Ylva. As he became her guard, Bo had to learn French and is now learning English, which is terrible, as well as he had a trial era where someone watched him at all times. Soon Bo became close to Cyrille and even taughther Norse. He see they princess like a daughter even though he is only slightly older than her. He has now been with the royal guard for three years.

↳ Ylva was Bo's light, his reason to live. Everything he done was for her. He got up in the mornings just to make sure she was happy. His relationship with his wife was distant and they only seen one another as friends until their daughter was born.

↳ Bo and Dagný were arranged to be married at a young age since both their family's were poor and hoped that marrying their children would help the families prosper. Dagný and Bo were never in love but knew the family wanted them to get married and have children. Their marriage was first based on friendship until their daughter. After that their friendship turned into love.
Cʜᴀʀɢᴇ/Fʀɪᴇɴᴅ Princess Cyrille Valois ( 20 )
↳ Bo loves Cyrille, as a friend and as a daughter. She saved his life in more ways than one. He is loyal to her and will die for her if the need be but not because she saved his life but because he wants to protect her unlike the situation of his own daughter.


Oᴛʜᴇʀ:
Wᴇᴀᴘᴏɴʀʏ/Fɪɢʜᴛɪɴɢ Sᴋɪʟʟs Bo prefers fighting with a sword but not just any one but the sword that Dagný's father gave him as he has gotten quite good with it. It fits his hand perfectly and it is one of the last things that Bo had of his family.

Serabelle Augusta was born to a Duke and Dutchess in the outskirts of Paris. They welcomed their little girl with conflict between them. The Duke could not be sure that the child was actually his, there were rumors that his wife was in fact cheating on him. Still, when he saw the child, he could not stop himself from loving her, attaching himself to her immediately, he put his name to the childs. He would not debate on whether she was his or not any longer, even if she wasn't his. He claimed her as his own, and informed his wife that she could never take Serabelle from him, no matter the outcome of their marriage in the future.

There were two more girls that came after Serabelle, but neither had the place in their fathers heart, quite like Sera. The little girl was given a pony at three, she named him her best friend and confidante, Aries. It was when she turned eleven that the horse was killed, tragically, in a hunting accident. She was devastated by the news, and did not take another horse for almost a year.
At 13 Serabelle was sent away to the French court, to become a Lady in Waiting, for the eldest princess. The first year away from home was hard, but she adjusted in time. It didn't take her long to find a way to find time for horse back riding, she'd brought her own horse, Zeus, along with her when she'd moved to the palace. She began a routine of waking before dawn to ride every day.
Four years passed since she came to live at the castle. It was definitely home for her. She developed a new kind of family, though she did get to visit her own still, time to time. Serabelle has been on the search for a suitable husband as of late, her family, especially her sisters, are counting on her to marry well. Though she has been quite distracted with her princess becoming the queen, and all of the duties, and emotions that it entailed.

Mateo is a strong-willed, almost defiant, young man, that stands for what he believes to be right, and just. His father comments at times that he would make a good diplomat, Mateo ignores his father, preferring to keep to himself with his charities and volunteer work. Mateo tends to be charming, and flirtatious at times, but not meaning to. His heart is generous and warm, he is very giving, and that part of his shines through, which causes others to draw to him. Mateo has been hurt a few times in his life, so he does sometimes guard his heart, but usually not with those that need a heart to give them a chance. He has a weakness for those that have less than him, and for causes that mean something to him.

A small prince was born at the beginning of summer. The air was sticky with humidity, the silence broken by the screams of the baby prince.
Mateo was a needy baby, he required being held overly much. As he grew into his toddler years he grew slightly less dependent. His eldest brother, the crowned prince, was very close with Mateo, watching over him and playing with him in his free time. There were nursemaids, and footman to watch him as well, but his eldest brother seemingly enjoyed his time with his baby brother.
Mateo was a curious child, and was reading by age four. They were simple books, but they were books nonetheless, the child valued learning like no other. His first argument with his parents was over his education, they wanted him to either take on a tutor or go to an aristocratic school. He denied both options, wanting as much normalcy in his life as possible. It took arguing, begging, and coaxing, eventually he convinced them of letting him earn a public education, as long as two guards attended him as well.
The young prince didn't anticipate the stares, and solitude that came with being a prince in a public school. His peers were in fear of being in trouble if they offended him. The first few years were hard for the little prince. Eventually he got a circle of friends, ones that were brave enough to be real with him, despite any consequences that might befall them.

Being a prince is never easy, no matter the nation, or the family. There will always be mistakes, mayhem, threats, and destruction. Prince Mateo had his life threatened, and almost taken, at age eleven. A girl had pretended to have taken an interest in him, it was the first girl that had seemed to like him, for him, not just for his wealth or title. So he began talking to her, taking her home after school, studying with her. That is, until they went out on a boat one day, and he found himself being forced under water by the girl, she said she was doing for the sake of the rebellion. He had no idea what rebellion she was referring to, and was flabbergasted when it happened. He tried to come up for air, but she had her weight over him, being above him, and did well in forcing him to stay underwater. Thankfully there were guards trailing them, closely, and they were able to stop the whole ordeal. It didn't make it any easier though, and it made the prince much more wary when it came to love, or people being alone with him, outside of his family.

Being as it was so hard for his parents to have children, Mateo and his siblings were encouraged to find love, not a 'suitable' match, growing up. So there were no 'planned' or 'appointed' marriages, even though this might have benefited Australia. Instead they had the freedom to marry whomever their heart desired. Mateo hope's that this means for both genders as well, because he cannot figure out which he prefer's, but has found himself drawn to both genders. He dated a girl for a long while, a year and a half to be exact, she was from some islands, and visited the Australian court often. The two had hit it off almost immediately, and he'd thought that perhaps he'd found the girl that he might marry one day. Instead he had his heart broken when the girls father married her off to some duke in England. Mateo has been careful with his heart since, vowing to not just fall for anyone, it would have to be with someone that was dedicated to him, for forever. Even if it didn't work out, that person had to be willing to have forever in mind. He is now at French court, and there's no telling what kind of love interests could appear, new friends, enemies, or mischief.
