Katri ran her hands over her braid nervously. She had never done a date before. She had no idea what to expect. No doubt Kenichi was just as nervous as she was, but she was trying hard not to show it. What was weirder was she was nervous partially because of what she was wearing. She was used to racy and exposing attire, so what she wore was very tame compared to that.....was it that she felt normal for the first time in years that made her so hesitant?

Kenichi couldn't decide whether to put his hands in his pockets or to leave them out so that they could be held. Or he had no idea. Katri looked so different and cute and he was already attracted to her usual self, but this made him more attracted to her. Or maybe it didn't matter what she wore, and he just liked her in general. He didn't know! Was this normal? What would Mio say? Mio would kick him probably and say just be yourself. Like he knew what that meant!

Looking around, he looked at Katri and said, "what would you like to watch?"

Katri ran her hands nervously over her braid again, her mind a whirl of so many thoughts she was surprised she didn't have a headache. "U-um.....nothing romantic." she said almost at once. She hated romance movies with a passion. "Something.....with action....um...." she looked over the screenings. "What about....oh! Can we watch this one?" she asked, pointing to the new Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug movie. She looked a bit excited to see it.

Kenichi smiled slightly, amused that she could look so excited about watching a particular movie that it certainly didn't bother him. "Alright, I'm okay with watching that," he said laughing a little. It took him a moment to realise with a panic that he wasn't being rude for once, much less blunt.

Unfortunately that only lasted a minute.

When he walked over and bought tickets for him and Katri, he realised he had no idea how to buy them, and sorta argued with the dude for a minute or too, only because Kenichi had sounded demanding rather than polite and requesting. He hoped Katri didn't notice.

Katri giggled as she watched him buy them tickets. It was cute the way he used his demanding tone. She flushed shortly after thinking that. She knew she thought he was cute, so why was she blushing?

Luna walked into the cinema, wanting Takumi to be with her. She bought a ticket for The Fault In Our Stars and went into the viewing room. A young, very attractive male demon sat down beside her. "How come you're here all alone?" He asked flirtatiously.
"Oh... My boyfriend hasn't been himself. "Luna sighed, noticing his wandering eyes.

Kenichi turned back to Katri, and smirked, "got 'em," he said holding them out, "piece of cake." He said it as though nothing had happened though his pink ears were a sign that said it all.

((haha you should have seen my sad face when I saw there was a post here, only for it to have not been you XD))

Katri grinned winningly and said, "Can we get popcorn? I was never able to eat popcorn before, I want to try some." she bit her lip, blushing at her almost childlike enthusiasm and feeling embarrassed. She ran her hand over her braid again self-consciously.

Luna curled up in the seat, a bit chilled. The guy offered to give her his leather jacket, and she kindly accepted. She pulled it on, warming up almost immediately. "Thanks.." Luna said softly, he assured her that it was no problem and put his arm around her shoulders. Luna couldn't help but notice that he smelt good.

Kenichi chuckled, "sure, do you have a preference for what kind?" Kenichi was a lover of butter popcorn, but for some reason he wanted to get one big bucket to share between them. Was that normal date behaviour? Kenichi freaked out internally, and hoped she'd be cool with that.

Katri blushed when he chuckled. "Um....what kind do you like? I'll eat whatever one you pick." she said finally.

"Well usually I like just butter, you sure you just want to have butter?" he asked her, thinking maybe she'd like to try everything. That's what Mio did when it came to new stuff, but then, Katri wasn't Mio.

"I'm fine with just butter." Katri said with a smile. "I probably won't eat all that much, so it wouldn't make sense.....d-do you um.....want to just share a bucket of popcorn between us?" she asked nervously, fidgeting in the cutest way.

Kenichi looked at her, finding her very cute although even in her more revealing clothes she was cute too, moreso than seductive, strangely enough. "Oh yeah, that's cool, we could definitely do that," he said, "I'll go get us some then."

Katri smiled up at him. "A-and a soda too?" she asked before he could leave, her hand resting on his forearm.

Kenichi paused and looked back at her, "sure, what type?" He asked.

"Um........Mountain Dew?" she suggested, naming the first soda that popped into her head.

"Nice choice," he said and turned towards the snackbar to order food. Once again out of Katri's personal space, it seemed like he reverted back to his grouchy, demanding self. And once again, after a slight dispute in which his casual order was misinterpreted as rudeness, he finally paid and carried over to Katri one large butter popcorn and one mountain dew. He hoped she didn't see that conversation this time either.

Katri smiled over at him, trying not to giggle as his grouchiness was mistaken for rudeness again. "Ready for the movie?" she asked.

"Yep," he said handing her the drink and holding the popcorn in one hand while taking out their tickets in the other. He tried not to think about how the person waiting to rip their tickets thingy would react if the other two reacted the way they did.

Katri sipped from the drink, then let out a startled noise as it fizzed in her mouth. From her surprise, it was evident she had never drunk soda before.

Kenichi, luckily, didn't get a chance to be rude at the ticket stub lady, because he was equally startled at the noise Katri made, and he turned, blinking in surprise, "what is it? What's wrong? No fizz?"

"N-no....there was fizz." Katri said, regaining her composure, only to blush at her reaction. "I-i've never drank soda before either....it wasn't what I was expecting...." she admitted.

"Oh, that's..." Kenichi turned away, blushing as he said, "...cute."

((oh mah gawd long haired Bradd Pitt is so effing hawt .-. I would totally date him, idgaf about the age difference between us XD))

Katri blushed darkly. "I-it is?"

"Yep," he said bluntly and looked at her, "shall we?"

((I just watched World War Z for the millionth time and I can't help but think that haha))

Katri nodded and grinned. "We shall."

((Sorry, but no. Brad Pitt is not hot. Brendon Urie however, omfg have my babies))

((everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Saying 'no he's not hot' is probably not the correct kind of wording as some people might take offense to it. Saying something more like 'I don't think he's hot' or 'he's not hot to me' would cause less conflict. ^_^ just a little helpful hint since to me Brad Pitt is hot))

((Hm I'd have to agree with Sakura here. Brad Pitt has actually always been a fave of mine for the older fellas <3))

Kenichi smiled, and sticking close to Katri by not walking too fast, he led her towards their cinema. Inside he found their seats.

Katri bounced in the seat excitedly after taking a few more sips of the soda, letting out little surprised noises as the bubbles fizzed in her mouth all the way down to her stomach. "Oh, I can't wait for it to start!" she said restlessly.

Kenichi chuckled, barely surprising laughter since she was so excited and clearly affected by the fizz. "Neither can I," he said unable to decide where to put the popcorn since they were in a seat designed for couples. Should he put it between them?

"I've heard it was supposed to be really good, so I hope it is!" Katri said, looking over at him with bright eyes. One almost expected her to have a wagging tail from how she was acting.

He decided to hold the popcorn. Looking at her, he smiled, "glad you're excited, have you seen the first one?"

Katri flushed and stopped bouncing, feeling suddenly shy and embarrassed over her behavior. "I-i um....saw most of it." she said, trying to calm down.

Kenichi, deciding to make the first move reached forward and held her hand, interlacing their fingers. "Ah, that's good, I didn't, so you can fill me in on what I missed," he said,.

Katri looked at their entwined hands, a blush creeping up her cheeks as she turned to look at him, stammering out a response as she started to feel flustered. What was wrong with her? Usually she knew all the right words to say....but right now, she would be lucky if she could remember her name. What was going on? Was this what....liking someone felt like?

Kenichi didn't look at her because he was pretty much feeling the same as Katri, not really knowing why he did it and yet did. Though his mind was clearer than hers that was for sure.

Katri bit her lip as she held his hand, hoping and worrying her hand wasn't sweaty or anything.

"Popcorn," Kenichi asked offering the popcorn to her. He hadn't had any yet and probably wouldn't until she did. Offering was also a way he thought, that he could cover the handholding, as though it was perfectly natural.

Katri reached for it hesitantly and popped a few kernels into her mouth. Her eyes widened. "Oh, this is good!" she said, smiling as she went for more, relaxing more into the date.

Kenichi smiled, amused by her delight, "glad you like it," he said taking a few for himself and popping them into his mouth.

Katri grabbed another handful to munch away on happily, grinning as she did so. "I'm glad I do too!" she said, relaxing as the movie came on. She didn't have to explain what happened in the previous movie as it was shown before the movie began.

The sweet guy leaned in to kiss her and she dodged his lips and gave him a hug instead. He seemed a bit disappointed. "S-sorry... I can't do that to Takumi..." Luna said softly. He kept his arm around her, and she rest her head on his chest.

Kenichi smiled as he watched her for a moment before turning to the screen. He had missed a little of the recap, but, he didn't want to admit it. Katri was just well...cute.
