What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

Kids horror book similar to goosebumps, I believe I read it sometime in the 2000's. I remember it having a good amount of illustrations. A boy passes by a movie theater and decides to go in but when he does he is the only one inside. A movie starts playing so he sits to watch it, its about a beach party and the more he watches it the more he feels like he is a character in the movie. It feels so vivid to him that he can feel himself getting sunburned and when he goes surfing he wipes out and cuts his elbow. The movie ends and he can't believe how real it felt but when he walks out his face is sunburned and his elbow is bleeding from when he wiped out. Shocked he goes back the next day and gets sucked into a new adventure, he is still the only one in the theater. The more he goes the harder it is for him to come out. I think the marquee says what movie will be playing but i can't remember. I think towards the end it says there will be a fun movie and he is excited to go in but when he does a different movie plays. I can't remember if its about creatures or other kinds of monsters but gets sucked in and he can't get out anymore so I think he gets trapped in the film. This was one of my favorite books as a kid thank you to anyone that can help!
