Wayne Reinagel is the author of a trilogy of thick novels celebrating the pulp action-adventure and super-hero fiction of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, as well as a spin-off novel featuring some of his characters from the trilogy.. His approach is pretty much one of a kind; I've only read one of the books, , and didn't find it without its flaws, but it got three stars from me.
